They're always kind and very professional, very helpful, and super efficient, my experience has always been great, and I trust them. It doesn't hurt that I live close by either. The way I found them is that I did my research and my prompt was "an automotive shop close to me, honest, professional, reasonably priced, diverse, and female friendly". I have no complaints 😉 They even provide transportation if you have to leave your car, thats like icing on the 🎂

I brought my Jeep Patriot to Selma Automotive because they were recommended by Google Gemini for servicing CVT transmissions. I was also interested in getting my CV joint replaced. They showed me that several other suspension components were in need of replacement too, but I wanted to make sure my transmission was in good shape before I invested further. Selma Automotive serviced my "factory-only" transmission the right way by dropping the pan and draining the old oil. They did not perform a flush service. Because of this, they were able to confirm my transmission did not have any metal shavings associated with component breakdown, so I felt good about adding on the suspension components. Wally, the shop owner, was gracious to give me a ride home and picked me up when my vehicle was ready. A couple weeks later, one of my new struts was clanking on turns and bumps, so I brought it back. Since they buy and install fully assembled struts, Wally explained to me that it may have been defective from the factory. They removed and replaced both front end struts free of charge, and also gave me a free alignment for the amount of work I authorized on my vehicle. Selma ATR is a clean, reputable, and family-oriented local shop that has a great staff. I'm glad I found them and will come back the next time my Jeep needs servicing.

Talked with Wally in the morning and explained the issue with our car. He set up an appointment for us and they started working to fix our car within 5 minutes of our arrival time. His customer service is outstanding. They fixed our car which needed a new alternator and double checked the battery. The price was more than fair and cheaper than two other locations we have used in the past. They definitely earned our future business and will recommend them to others. The mechanic got right to business and was finished ahead of the time they quoted. The office area and Bay Area are very clean. Thanks again to Mr Wally and his team.

I found a coolant leak from my truck, scheduled an appointment for 1 pm, dropped it off early at 10am and got a diagnosis within the hour. Being in lawn care I needed my truck back by 4pm for some afternoon work… after I dropped it off at 10am it was ready for pick up around 2. Quick service and very well priced. 10/10 would recommend and will def be returning for any needed services in the future as needed. Great customer service and honest trustworthy people.
