Audi of America asked for a survey, so I figured I'd also just post the text here. This location has by far exceeded any expectations of how to kindly assist me in my vehicle repairs and have been for many years. I plan to only ever go to this specific location because I have tried other ones and my car comes back damaged with no explanations, but Audi North Park is amazing and specifically Alexander has been a very reassuring service advisor to be working with. There are a few things that I can really do to show my appreciation for Audi North Park. At the very least I hope this survey helps them at least to be recognized. Time and time again, even though it's Audi, they go above and beyond.

Be cautious of unnecessary repairs - On Dec 5th, I visited North Park Audi for a routine oil change and inspection. During the visit, the technician claimed that my vehicle was leaking a significant amount of coolant and recommened both a Water pump replacement and thermostat. He stated that I leave the vehicle there to get them replaced. The rep came and stated that it would be 2700 for the repairs and that I would also need a coolant flush to go along with it. I declined as I didn't any warning lights and don't recall ever seeing a leak under my car. I ended up going to two different mechanics one on Sat and again on Mon to verify. Both ran a pressure test and stated that they were unsure to what the Audi technician saw, but that I had no leaks on my water pump or thermostat, and that they were not needed. I called Audi and asked why wasn't a pressure check done, the rep stated he didn't know and would get back. My question is if I accepted the repairs without questioning it and getting another opinion, I would be out around 3,000 dollars for no reason, and how many others just took the technican at their word and paid for potentially unneeded repairs.
