I've had great sales and service experiences at Gunn Chevrolet for several years. Recently, the fin antenna on the roof of my 2025 Chevy Silverado came loose. It's been 4 months since I attempted to initiate my warranty to have this fixed or replaced. I keep checking on the status of the part. I understand parts are on a back order status but in this case, I feel as if though I'm being placed on the back burner in hopes that my warranty claim will go away.
View on GoogleDear Gunn Chevrolet, I am writing to address a discrepancy regarding the installation cost of a GM Chevy bed extender (ordered through the GM Store and delivered to your dealership). While I appreciate the excellent service I received from your representative, I am concerned about the difference between the installation price quoted on the GM Store website and the quote I received from your service department. Prior to completing my purchase on the GM Store, I was presented with an installation cost of $117.00 for the bed extender. I initially declined this option, believing the installation to be straightforward. However, upon further research, I discovered that the installation requires drilling into the truck bed and subsequently decided to have Gunn Chevrolet perform the installation. I was then quoted a price of $250 plus for an hour or more of labor by your service department. While I understand and respect the dealership's need to operate profitably, this price represents a significant increase compared to the $117.00 installation cost offered on the GM Store website. My question is, why is there such a disparity between the installation price offered through the GM Store and the price quoted by the dealership? Ideally, I would have expected a more aligned pricing structure between the GM Store and affiliated dealerships for accessory installations. I acknowledge that I bear some responsibility for not selecting the installation option during my online purchase. However, I hope you can understand my frustration regarding the significant price difference.

View on GoogleDropoff and pick up of my vehicle for diagnoses was very smooth. My service advisor Roland Cortez was very courteous. He was very thorough explaining the inspection done on my vehicle. Roland was very knowledgeable and also provided recommendations to address the symptoms I've been experiencing with my vehicle. In addition, he was able to have the technician repair one of my tires that picked up a nail/screw on the way to the dealership that morning. I would definitely return to Gunn for future service/repairs if needed.
