WrenchConnect connects vehicle owners with local repair shops and provides AI-assisted diagnostics. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your personal information.

Information we collect

• Account & shop details — name, email, and the business information mechanics provide when they claim a listing.
• Repair requests & leads — the contact details and vehicle information you submit when you reach out to a shop.
• Vehicle & diagnostic inputs — the symptoms, vehicle details, and optional VIN you enter to generate a diagnosis.
• Payment information— handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We don’t store full card numbers.
• Usage data — basic, privacy-friendly analytics and the session cookie that keeps you signed in.

How we use it

We use your information to route repair requests to the shops you contact, operate and secure the service, generate diagnostic results, process subscriptions, and improve accuracy.

How we share it

Contact details submitted with a repair request are shared only with the shop you’re contacting. We share limited data with service providers that run the platform on our behalf (payment processing, hosting, and email delivery), and only as needed to provide the service or comply with the law. We do not sell personal information.

Diagnostic data

Diagnostic inputs are used to produce your results and to improve common-issue accuracy. These records are stored without your contact information.

Your choices

To access, correct, or delete your data, email support@wrenchconnect.org. We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
