Erie County Auto Bureau DMV

Never had a bad expierence here. Wait is occasionally long but is at every dmv. Kay helped me with my documents today, she was very kind, speedy, and helpful. Had an appointment and arranged documents ahead of time, made process seamless with the help of Kay.

Got there 2pm Saturday no appointment and had an issue with my insurance ID card being read. The lady, at I believe window 6, was extremely helpful and helped me try multiple ways to correct it and got us figured out right before 3pm when they close. Was able to register the vehicle and renew my license just in time. Was professional and friendly throughout.

The office is not busy but they take forever to see people they only have one window open and they will take they time getting you in they need to close down, they take there time seeing people and it’s sad no one wants to set in the DMV while they sit on there phone taking there time to call people up. Like we have other stuff to do with our life’s some people come on break but I advise you don’t because it’s no urgency at this location

I've been to the Eastern hills location twice in the past 2 months, and have been pleasantly surprised with how easy and smooth the appointments are. I've dealt with the same person twice (unaware of her name, but she loves purple and has fun trinkets on display at her desk). Appointments were booked for 5:30 both times, and I arrived 10-15 min early. Both times I was out by 5:30. While I do feel like part of the success comes from making an appointment, I could tell through observing the (short) line that they work hard to accommodate those without appointments. Having the correct forms filled out prior to arrival is also a time saver. Everyone seemed in good spirits working there and I've already recommended it to co workers

Best Advice....Make an appointment online first! Service is quick when you do, the employees are helpful, overall a good DMV expierence
