Doc's Auto Center

The first mechanic I’ve ever been to in my life: Doc’s auto shop. I recently got my license and doc was recommended to me by a friend who’s been going to Doc for years. I knew nothing about cars, nothing. Now? I know most things under my hood, I know how to bargain, I know business is business. Doc not only took his time answering my questions, but he welcomed them! He explained everything in detail and let me look for myself. Not very many genuine hardworking people out there, if you need anything car related this is the only place you need to be. Affordable rates isn’t even the word! I am extremely appreciative to now know this gem of an auto shop run by Doc. Go here, don’t hesitate!

Thank god for Doc, We have a small issues with our cars , the last couple months and Doc was able to get both of our cars in same day without a problem. Location is super close to our home and doc is such a nice guy as well as his employee's. Always gives you a fair price which is great! I would definitely recommend Doc Auto Center. I highly recommend Doc's. I really liked the mechanic, who was very genuine and trustworthy. The shop was gritty and not shiny so don't expect that, but it was absolutely super legit. I will use them again and will recommend it to all of my friends. They could have charged me way, way more. Apparently my engine light was only on because my gas cap wasn't on tight enough. He told me about my transmission leak and was honest about how much it would cost to actually fix... and because my car was so old, he didn't even recommend it. He even took the time to show me how to check the transmission fluid to be sure it stays full. I really appreciated their time, attention, and straight forwardness. As a woman, I have experienced mechanics lying to raise their charges. I really trusted Doc's. Hoping this review gets them even more business. GO HERE! Doc took incredible care of my car after another shop failed to properly replace my alternator. When he observed the previous shop placed a poor quality alternator in my car he contacted them and assisted us in negotiating and getting the prior shop to cover costs. He was also more than happy to help with topping off my tire with air and ensuring my car had proper fluids before leaving on a long road trip. I cannot recommend him enough!

In July, my Ford F-150 started having all sorts of problems. Engine knocking, rough starts, sputtering, limp mode, etc. I called up Doc and had the truck towed to his shop. He was able to get me in, same day, and diagnose all of the problems within 24 hrs of dropping off the truck with him. Turns out, my truck was worse for wear than I had thought and the repair cost would have been more than the truck was worth. Instead of insisting on repairs, which would have costed me thousands, Doc advised me to cut my losses. I did have the option to repair it if I wanted to, but I sincerely appreciate him and his team’s honesty and insistence about it. Other shops I’ve had the displeasure of giving my business to would have tried to rake me over the coals, but not Doc! You can tell as soon as you meet Doc and his team that they know their craft very well, and will take care of you and your vehicle to the best of their abilities.
