Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Survey Comment: This was my FIRST experience having my car serviced outside a dealership EVER!!! My son suggested I go to Valvoline as trying to get an appointment at the dealership was difficult. I needed an inspection and I asked to have my AC checked. At the dealership, I would’ve waited two hours only for staff to come out tell me everything WRONG with my vehicle, only to add on additional charges $$ and additional STRESS!! This establishment was courteous, professional and honest with my vehicle’s issues. Greg took EXCELLENT care of me and my car. He came out frequently to update me on his findings. There was even a food truck outside! Although I bought a sandwich, I didn’t have time to eat the whole thing—that’s how efficient they were. Car passed inspection and my AC no longer feels like someone is BREATHING on me—in fact, it was a little TOO CHILLY!! Great service, great price, GREAT PEOPLE!! I’ll be there for my first non-dealership oil change next month! I’m a customer for life! Thank you for instilling such professionalism and friendliness at a place where people usually don’t expect either!!

I had a deeply gutting experience with Valvoline after my engine blew on my 2021 Hyundai Palisade just 17 miles after service. District Manager Brian Yannotta dismissed clear evidence, including videos and witness accounts, and accused everyone of lying, even my tow truck driver. He offered to cover only 50% of the engine replacement costs, which felt inadequate given his unprofessional demeanor and refusal to listen. Despite his 25 years of experience, Brian escalated the situation instead of de-escalating it. He questioned my intelligence and made baseless accusations, blaming the engine failure on a minor coolant leak while ignoring the broken rubber seal on the oil filter. His poor investigation was evident when he contradicted himself over the state of my oil, failing to acknowledge that his team recommended an engine flush due to the oil being old. Throughout our conversations, he never allowed me to fully explain my side, making it clear that his preconceived notions clouded his judgment. I was forced to fight for the chance to speak, and he ultimately blamed my engine failure on factors that didn't align with the timeline. I was offered a 50% contribution to the engine replacement but declined, as I believe Valvoline should be fully accountable for the situation. Brian's refusal to admit any fault and his combative attitude are unacceptable. I plan to escalate this matter, not for financial gain but to hold them accountable. I will be reporting this to the relevant authorities and sharing my experience publicly. Valvoline needs to do better. I won’t rest until justice is served.

Awesome service. It’s so cool getting to stay in my car and seeing all the work that goes into an oil change and changing filters. I really appreciate their professionalism and how well they worked together as a team. Will most definitely come back.

Everyone I met was extremely professional and friendly. I came at the end of the day around 5:30 and was out in about 20 minutes. Richie is a great manager, explained everything clearly and answered my questions. He offered some other services without being pushy, and didn’t give any attitude when I declined. You can tell he enjoys helping people, and made me feel comfortable and willing to return again. I didn’t think the prices were competitive compared to my dealership, but the convenience of not having an appointment and not having to wait over an hour in a showroom is totally worth it. It’s more comfortable just waiting in my car. Also they offer discounts for some people such as first responders, so be sure to ask. You guys have a great team, keep up the good work!

I was highly satisfied with my experience because the service was fast, professional, and very efficient. The team greeted me right away, clearly explained what they were doing, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I appreciated how organized everything was and that there was no long wait time. They also checked a few extra things and made helpful recommendations without being pushy. Overall, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole visit smooth and stress free. I’ll definitely be coming back.
