Met with Ian when I was starting my car buying process. He was excellent at explaining everything and finding a car that would fit what I was looking for. I unfortunately did not end up purchasing here purely because of finding a deal that I felt was better. If it were a closer gap in the price I would have been happy to buy a car from him. Everyone there was very friendly and the sitting area was great.

I’m extremely happy with the service performed on my car. A vehicle is a major investment, and it’s important to have a service center you can truly trust for maintenance and repairs. The team was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my car is in such capable hands.

This review is for my interaction with Jeremy D’ Amico. There were some miscommunication regarding mounting and balancing of tires purchased from Van Bortel tire center. Jeremy helped us resolve the issue swiftly without pushback. Great customer service and a professional service advisor. Will do business with again.

Easiest five stars I’ve ever given. Van Bortel makes car buying an experience where the customer is treated like a VIP. Bought my WRX here and never felt pushed into a sale but always felt supported and informed. The service department is great too - easy scheduling, fast and no-hassle service, and a very comfortable waiting room. Best car dealership I have ever worked with and I will be buying more Subarus there in the future.

Terrible service appointment to just get tires switched over. I was using new rims so the soonest I could get in was 4 weeks out. Had multiple phone conversations since to make sure EVERYONE knew that the summer tires were going on new rims being stored in Parts. The day of the appointment I was immediately asked, “Did you get tire pressure sensors?”. My response, “Did any of the 3 people I spoke with say that I needed to?”. “Well, we can do that but it’s gonna cost you an extra $85/tire. CHA CHING. Here comes the Subaru Love Promise. I walked out visibly pissed off. I will find someone else to switch the tires and will NOT do business with Van Bortel again.
