Burdick Toyota Service

Imagine calling them and asking about a price of a service they offer, only for the lady to say she doesn't know and proceeds to hang up right away. One hell of customer service you guys got. I'll gladly avoid this place and I hope the others do the same

Have gotten 3 vehicles from Toyota but NEVER again! Their service department has gone downhill from what it used to! My vehicle needing the SAME exact part that THEY supposedly replaced only 2 yrs and 8,000 miles ago is ludicrous!! Have been waiting 3 days for “SERVICE” manager to call back!!

I used Burdick Toyota's Collision Center after I was involved in an accident that wasn't my fault. I used them because I work in North Syracuse and I figured it would just be easier to pick up my car being it was right up the road. What I was not happy to see, when I picked up the car, was the long crack in my windshield that goes from the bottom passenger side to the middle of the windshield. This is a hazard for more than one reason; I won't be able to pass NYS inspection, I could get pulled over and ticketed, and God forbid if anything hit my windshield or if I am unfortunate enough to be in another accident. The windshield was not cracked when I dropped my car off for the original repairs caused from the accident. I am wondering what happened while the car was in the hands of the collision center, for them to cause this damage to my car. Did someone put something on my windshield that could have caused this crack? Was a wrench thrown at my windshield? I don't know and I was not informed about it from the manager of the collision center, until after I questioned it, when it was brought to my attention from the Manager at the Burdick Ford store. I want this issue to be rectified in some way. I want someone to contact me about how Burdick is going to go about fixing my windshield. My experience with the Ford store was fantastic. Not only did they let me know about the cracked windshield, they also handled all the Ford issues promptly and professionally and were informative to what issues they found and they took care of my car expeditiously. I am a regular at the Ford store because that's where I get my service done, so I am a loyal Burdick customer. I truly hope we can come to an agreement on this matter.

Have been here four times in past year and always receive quick service, frequent updates, and fair pricing. I had to drop off my car for a battery replacement and they even had a shuttle to take me back home. I used to live in New York City and would routinely wait 5+ hours for service. At Burdick, I’m usually done in 1-2 hours.

Terrible and very unnecessary experience. I had to bring my car in for a simple NYS Inspection and to get a slow leak in one of my tires checked out. Most other places - this would take an hour tops. When I called, they said I had to drop my car off - I couldn't just wait, because they didn't know when service providers would be available. So I agreed but said I had to have my car done between 4 and 5 at the absolute latest, or I'd have to switch days. They said it'd be fine. When I dropped my car off, Chris said I could have waited, but then it was too late. I re-emphasized that they said it'd be done between 4 and 5. 4:45 comes around and I still hadn't heard anything, so I called and they didn't have any information on the car. They hadn't even STARTED working on my car! Chris calls me at 5:10 to tell me there was a screw in my tire and it'd be $198 (though he said that morning that just a patch would be about $38 if it was needed.) I noted the time to him and that I was promised my car would be done between 4 and 5 and it was 5:10 and his response was "So you don't want us to fix the tire, then?" I said no it was already late and he said I could come pick it up in about 15-20 minutes. He didn't apologize for the inconvenience or the fact that I would now be late for my job or anything. I saw him again when I picked up my car, and told him that it was unacceptable that a one hour job took all day and an hour and 40 minutes more than what I said I needed it to be done by and noted to him that he hadn't even given a simple apology for the trouble it put me in and he said "Okay." and that was all. The woman at the cashier counter was very sweet and kind, but his response was absolutely unacceptable, rude, and dismissive. This is not the first problem I have had at Burdick Toyota in Driver's Village. And it will be the last Toyota I ever buy.
