Found this place in Troy and it is awesome! I was able to get in easily with their scheduling system. I was able to get my exhaust replaced crazy fast by being able to get the car off the ground. I will keep coming back here for future auto work where I need to lift my car. My back was so relieved! The worker Anna so very helpful and friendly. Rules were clear and the shop was clean. All around great experience. I have already scheduled another timeslot to replace another exhaust system.

I rented a bay for 4 hours ended up needing 6 spread over two days (because of a part that was sold dealer only and not local). The owners were very fair with me even though I needed two days. The facility was really clean and the tools maintained well. Had every tool that I needed there. It was about 10 degrees outside but warm enough inside to work in a sweatshirt and be comfortable. I would definitely use the facility again.

Had a fantastic experience at Hoist House! The facility is super clean, well organized, and equipped with everything you need to get serious work done on your car. Dustin was incredibly helpful — offered great advice, pointed me to the right tools, and made sure I had what I needed the whole time. Really appreciate the flexibility and support — it’s the perfect place if you want to tackle projects yourself but still have access to pro-level gear. Highly recommend!

Top to bottom an A1 experience with this place. What an ingenious business. The place was clean, provided tools, and the manager was exceptionally helpful. Affordable as well. Replaced transmission torque strut mount( rear motor mount), an impossible job if you have to do it on your back. Pulled in and was wrenching in minutes. I highly recommend Hoist House.

I used the shop twice in the last week, once on a hoist to replace rear shocks and once in a flat bay to replace fuel injectors, spark plugs, and ignition coils. The convenience and tool access was great, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I will definitely go back for future repair/maintenance work.
