Flat Four Automotive L.L.C.

After my clutch went out on my 2015 Forester early March a friend of mine found Flat Four Automotive in a Google search, and I’m glad he did. After considering a couple Subaru area dealerships for the repair, I contacted the highest rated one requesting an estimate but they never called back. I first contacted Flat Four via email describing my problem including a photo and Matt responded same day. We soon aligned on the work to be done and in a couple days received a detailed estimate that held up with the work as completed. During the repair I received photos of the damage done to the components and then more as the new parts were being installed. Picked up the car all in good order. First rate experience in all ways. Very good value especially considering Matt's expertise. Excellent communications. Glad to have Matt_Flat Four Automotive in my corner for future Subaru mechanical service work and highly recommend other Subaru owners to consider using his services.

I brought my "New to me" 21' Outback for some overdue fluid changes and spark plugs. Matt was transparent the whole service. Even taking progress pics and saving every replaced part, plug, and fluid to show. Just talking to the guy you can tell he knows his stuff, and he even gave me tips on some work I'll be doing myself to the vehicle. 100% recommend coming here 👌

This is a great shop if you need service on your Subaru. This is the kind of place you can send your daughter to and not worry about them getting taken advantage of. Did a great job on a turbo oil line replacement for us. I really appreciated getting to talk directly with the person fixing my car (no service advisors). Sends lots of pictures so you can see what's going on. Fixes what you need to get fixed without up selling unneeded work. Prices are very fair for the level of service and quality of work. The only downside is you might have to wait a week or two for an appointment, depending on what you need done and availability of parts.

If you are a Subaru owner, then you are probably particular about your car and who can work on it. Have no fear Matt is here! Honestly this dude was amazing. Very professional, very knowledgeable and extremely great at communication! Matt had reached out to me numerous times to update me, or let me know of something new he had discovered, or a new benefit he could add that fixed an existing problem. It didn't matter what it was, he was brilliant. He treated my car like it was his own. He has a passion for this stuff. He even went so far as to send me update progress pictures of the work being performed. It was great. Matt is honest, fair, and a very good mechanic. Look forward to working with you again! I would and have taken my cars to Matt no questions asked , He has always done great work for Oakos and now his own shop. If you need any service done to your Subaru drop it off with him. Below are pictures of the before and after of my valve covers on my 2006 Legacy GT Wagon. He cleans and takes care of any parts better than many dealers would. He will be handling any work on my Subaru's that I don't want to handle in the future and doing track inspections for my car.
