2009 Nissan 370Z. My Z had a fractured front wheel which these wheels are nearly impossible to find. That style of wheel in an 18x8 seemed non existent thru combing the interwebs vigilantly. Several places advertised they had it and were quick to take my money but then call me back days later stating they do not have or can't get this wheel, then the hassle of returning my funds played big role in the time pinch I was in. Last resort was these guys Detroit wheel and tire which I thought would be just another facade. Nope, called Kirk Wimple and he promised they had what I was looking for. I was a smidge reluctant due to my recent searching history to took the final leap of faith. That leap ended up being a wise decision. Kirk had his staff pull one of these wheels from a salvage inventory and spin it to new condition in just a few days. I live in Kansas so turnaround shipping time was just 2 days after product was finished in the refurbishment process. It was to my door and on the car in less than a half a day. Wheel spun damn near perfect on the balancer only requiring 1/2 and ounce of weight. The best part about this situation was I had just had my wheels all done by a local outfit having them reconditioned via paint etc due to age & wear, right before a crack was noticed in one of them. So just spending big bucks on them only to find out i needed now a $600 replacement. After dealing with Detroit wheel and tire it was worth every cent and minute I paid. Wheel matches perfectly color wise and I couldn't be happier with this entire transaction & superb end result product. Thank you Kirk and Detroit wheel and tire, A+ all the way.

Ordered a set of chrome wheels for a customer. They come extremely late. Emailed them for an eta and was told shipping in two days. Well, that never happened. It was weeks later. Finally received the wheels and they had trash under the chrome finish, a couple burn marks to where it looked like they tried to polish it and excessive orange peel in the finish and nothing like a OEM quality finish. They made me pay for shipping, $175, back for the horrible finish on them and charged me $90/ wheel and said I caused the damaged when there was no way possible I could.

Thank you, my explorer ST looks much better with the chrome upgrade. Kirk is the man.

Ordered a rim before realizing there was zero information about the delivery time anywhere at checkout. I called the line for more information and bryan ogg, who heads the direct/internet sales line, was immediately just rude and off putting. He told me he would cancel it but of course, I knew he would forget and you as the customer have to remind them to do their jobs? Why is the onus on the customer to take time out of THEIR day to remind an employee who is hired for a specific purpose to do their job? Delivery info is concealed from the site, at time of writing, because I imagine customers would be less willing to order if they knew the lead time could be up to 2-3 weeks - has to be made to order and *then* shipped, standard. Again, none of this info is readily available on the site or at checkout. Edit: Brian was late on cancellation, as I knew he would be and only remembered when I called him - gave me full attitude when I called him - god forbid an employee be tasked with doing the job they are paid for. They called me again (after I posted this review) to take it down. Another thing I forget to mention is they are more expensive than competitors. You can't charge more than everyone else AND have bad customer service especially when good CS is free. Please hire nicer and more competent people not like Brian. Or at least have someone who has one of those traits. Mean AND incompetent employees drive customers away.

3 Stars, because they do respond and fairly quick! I inquired about a wheel, to match my current wheels. I want to do a 5 tire rotation with a full size spare. Bryan responded, they had a beautiful refurbished wheel available. It's $535, but it didn't include the inserts or the center cap. Also, I was told I would have to buy those items from a Ram dealership. For the price of the wheel and that it wasn't complete. I wouldn't call that refurbished, I'd call that incomplete! Being that this wheel has been hard to find, for just wanting one. I probably would have bought it, if it was complete. Also, their site does sell the center caps, for the wheel. I would have bought one to go with the wheel. I just couldn't justify spending $535, for a refurbished wheel, that was missing inserts. Bryan was helpful, even though I didn't purchase.
