Morton grove auto & truck service is one of the best local auto shops I have been to. John the manager at the front really knows his stuff and is really helpful. I ended up getting my breaks done the quality and the turn around time was great! My last front breaks lasted nearly 7 years hopefully the breaks I got out on also lasts that longs pricing and turn around is unlike any place I have been to. And a side note they offer pick and drop off locally if you drop your car off.

Good customer service and friendly people. Although VERY expensive…I recently brought my 2006 Mercedes C class here for a pre-sale inspection and left extremely disappointed with the way the situation was handled. After a very basic inspection, I was told the vehicle supposedly needed $5,000–$8,000 in repairs, which is completely unrealistic when you actually look at the items listed on the invoice. The report mentions things like discolored brake fluid, worn tires, aged brake hoses, rear shocks, and a valve cover leak, all common maintenance items on a 20-year-old car. None of these repairs, even when priced generously, come anywhere close to the $5k–$8k number that was casually thrown out. This shop will look for ways to run up your bill.

I had always gone to the dealership for service, but my last visit was the breaking point. When my A/C stopped working, they quoted me $2,000 just to diagnose the issue. That was the last time I went there. I found MG Auto through my neighbor, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve had a few issues since the A/C problem, and every experience with MG Auto has been amazing. They are honest, fair, and never try to upcharge, which I truly appreciate. Highly recommend!

I had a coolant leak that was driving me crazy, I couldn't quite figure out where it was or what needed to be done to fix it. I brought it here and I am so glad I did. Instead of taking advantage of my inexperience with this manner of problem, John talked me through the possibilities. Ultimately, the problem wasn't as bad as I had originally thought. Much gratitude to John and Scotty for fixing my baby.
