⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at KC Martin in Lynnwood, WA. Terrance at the front desk was extremely professional, polite, and helpful from the moment I walked in. He treated customers with respect and explained everything clearly. The shop itself was also very impressive — exceptionally clean, organized, and professional. Honestly, it felt more like walking into a doctor’s office than an auto repair shop. That level of cleanliness and attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence in their service. Excellent customer service and a very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

KC Martin is such a wonderful shop. Reputable, quick, and honest. We’ve been bringing our cars to them for 4yrs now and they are always straight shooters with what needs to be done. They are kind and they work to ensure they fix everything as quickly as possible.

I'd never been here before. The tow truck driver suggested them when my car completely died. It needed a new alternator, drive belt etc. They started with diagnosing it on Wednesday 5/20/26. Brenden called me with updates and estimated cost which was about $1930 for everything. They had it all done by Friday afyernoon 5/22! Before the long Memorial day weekend! Thankyou for getting it done so quickly!

I brought my 2004 GMC Yukon Denali XL to K.C. Martin to have the A/C repaired because it was not functioning properly. After paying for service, I was told the system was operating and I was sent on my way believing the issue had been addressed. Little over 2 weeks later, I returned for a follow-up system check after another employee suggested I come back to verify there were no leaks. During this visit, I was suddenly told the system had lost approximately 70% of its refrigerant charge and now required additional diagnostic procedures costing hundreds more, with no clear explanation of why this was not determined during the original repair process. My biggest frustration was the communication. I repeatedly asked for clarification regarding: * what had actually been tested initially, * why I was previously told no components appeared necessary, * what the likely leak locations were, * and what potential repair costs I could realistically expect moving forward. Instead of receiving clear answers, the repair order was marked “declined” before I had even been properly contacted to approve or decline the additional diagnostic work. As a customer already spending significant money on repairs, plus transportation costs to and from the shop, this felt dismissive and poorly handled. I understand older vehicles can develop unforeseen problems and I do not expect miracles on a 2004 vehicle. What I do expect is transparent communication, realistic expectations, and a clear explanation of diagnostic findings before additional charges are recommended. At this point I feel more frustrated and financially drained than confident in the repair process.

I was referred to K.C. Martin by my neighbor. He was right by recommending them. My Subaru has had some transmission issues lately and had a costly job already performed at another auto mechanic. Although this was a separate issue from the previous one, K.C.'s team was thorough in explaining the details of what was going on with my car and made the repair in a timely manner. My consultant Terrence did a terrific job of keeping me informed and up to date on the status. He was very knowledgeable and sympathetic to my recent car woes. I was delighted to find out that the final cost totaled under $500 from the original quoted cost. I'm happy to know that I have a place that I can bring our other cars to in the future.
