Japanese Auto Care

I took my 2012 outback wagon two Japanese auto Care for them to find where my vehicle was leaking oil. Roy had his technicians give it a good look over and they figured out that the power steering lines needed to be tightened at the rack. They also changed out my oil pan and did a reseal. They also replaced my valve cover gasket and seals. They also found that the front crank seal that I had replaced at a different shop was still leaking. I had them go ahead and take care of it so it was done right. Roy’s mechanics found that the last shop that worked on my car actually destroyed the larger timing belt cover & glued back together and didn’t say anything. They replaced that for me as well. My Subaru does not leak any fluids after the work that Japanese auto Care performed for me!! I had a really great experience with this shop and with Roy. I would definitely bring my Subaru back to them for any future repairs .

A few hours after dropping off my car, I received a call with good news — there was no oil pan leak and no crack in the engine block. But what really set this shop apart was what came next: Roy sent me a video of the undercarriage so I could see the condition for myself. No guesswork, no upselling, just straight answers backed by visual proof. In a world where it's easy to take advantage of a worried customer, Roy and his team chose integrity instead. Can’t express how thankful I am for this place. They do honest and quality work. Came home from work one day, smelled smoke coming from my brakes, knew it was time to get in as soon as possible for a brake change. The gentlemen offered to get me in as soon as same day however with my schedule, I couldn’t get in until next week, no problem. Dropped it off in the morning. I was constantly getting updates. Turns out whoever did the brakes prior to me owning the car, really messed up and cut corners. These guys were able to explain to me my options and show me exactly what the problem was and just how bad it could have been had I not come in. Thanks you guys, won’t go anywhere else for work done on my Lexus.

Terrible place! Do NOT come here! You absolutely cannot trust the ratings written for this shop. My car was left at Japanese Auto Care for repairs, and while it was inside their shop and under their custody, my catalytic converter was STOLEN!!! That alone is bad enough. What’s worse is how the staff and owner handled it afterward. There was zero responsibility taken. No investigation. No attempt to review cctv. No explanation of how a major vehicle part could be stolen while the car was in their care. Instead, they immediately blamed me and told me that since I am the vehicle owner, I had to pay for everything. I had no choice but to pay $900 to repair the stolen catalytic converter just to get my car back. Both the staff and the owner were completely irresponsible and dismissive. If something goes wrong with your car here, don’t expect honesty, accountability, or help. Based on my experience, I would never trust this place with my vehicle again, and I strongly warn others to stay away.

Japanese Auto Care is a trustworthy and reliable company. Everyone there is friendly, and most importantly, honest. I’ve been bringing my car here for years, and the service has always been top-notch. Jae, in particular, has consistently provided excellent and honest service, which I truly appreciate. I always recommend Japanese Auto Care to my coworkers and anyone looking for honest, specialized automotive care. You can count on them!
