Severe Issues with Repair Quality, Unjustified Costs, and Professionalism. I am documenting my experience with Auto Recon Shop regarding my 2025 model vehicle. What began as a simple repair turned into an extremely stressful 45-day ordeal involving significant financial and technical issues. 1. Price Escalation & Pressure: The initial agreement with Qais was to repair the front bumper for an estimate of $5,500. However, once the vehicle was dismantled, the price was unexpectedly increased multiple times. I felt I had no choice but to comply because the vehicle was already taken apart and non-drivable. Ultimately, I ended up paying a total of $10,260, and there were further attempts to claim an additional $3,000, bringing the financial demands to nearly triple the original estimate for repairs initially described as minor. 2. Quality of Work & Improper Body Alignment: The repair process was highly concerning. I observed that the front sensors of the vehicle had been removed and were not reinstalled. Furthermore, during the process, I was pressured with the statement, “Take your car and go, or pay more,” leaving me in a very vulnerable position. I also observed cut wires and what appeared to be additional damage caused while the vehicle was in the shop’s possession. When I finally picked up the car, the results were entirely unprofessional. The vehicle’s exterior bodywork was severely misaligned, leaving the car with an incomplete and unacceptable appearance that does not meet basic professional standards. 3. Lack of Accountability: After receiving the payments, communication from Omar (owner) and Qais ceased. My calls and messages regarding the poor quality of the work, the improper alignment, and the finality of the "Paid in Full" status went unanswered. Conclusion: This experience lacked transparency and basic professional standards. I am sharing this to warn others to get every estimate in writing and to be extremely cautious before trusting this shop with a brand-new vehicle or any vehicle A good condition. * Important note (based on my personal experience): There is a disagreement regarding the documentation of this transaction, including the receipt. The signature on the receipt is now being disputed by the other party, although the document was signed at the time of the transaction. This matter is being addressed through appropriate official channels. Based on my personal experience with an auto repair transaction, I strongly recommend the following precautions before making any payments or signing any documents: * Always ensure all agreements are provided in writing. * Make sure documents include clear official business identification where applicable. * Verify the full legal name of the business and the authorized representative before signing anything. * Never make cash payments without receiving a proper official receipt. * Keep copies of all documents and communications for your records.

Had an amazing experience with Auto Recon Collision Center. They repaired and repainted my car and the finish came out flawless. They also installed my carbon fiber parts perfectly — everything lined up clean and looks incredible. Professional work and great attention to detail. Highly recommend!

This shop commits INSURANCE FRAUD! Wish i could leave a 0 star review... I took my car to this shop after being rear ended and having damage on my rear bumper. The shop told me that they would replace my bumper and any parts associated with the collision I was in. They ensured me that they would replace everything especially because the other party’s insurance company was covering the damages. I was told by the insurance company that this was also going to be case given the paperwork the shop had submitted to them and the amount they had approved. Everything was to be replaced. Now, one year later, I had a reason to take the bumper off for a paint scuff that occurred at a car wash, and I come to find out that my original bumper is still the one on my car, and it has been repaired. This is clear fraud on the shop’s end and I have full proof of documentation and photos. I called the shop and spoke to the owner, and he began to tell me that he doesn’t have any paperwork to corroborate this work that was supposed to be done on my car, and he isn’t even sure he got paid by the insurance company. This is a lie because I have proof that states otherwise. I then go to this shop and meet with the owner, who by the end of a 30 minute back and forth admits to wrong doing and that he is going to reimburse me for the fraud they committed. Since that meeting in person, he has been blowing me off and not answering my calls. This shop committed insurance fraud and collected money from insurance for parts that they did not replace. My assumption is that this is a common part of their practice given the owner’s response to me confronting him about it, and now not being ethical about dealing with it. I wonder how many other customers of theirs this has happened to… no one is the wiser unless they have a reason to inspect their work from underneath.

I crashed my Tesla Model S. On Eastside I was unable to even get an estimate for insurance until 5 weeks later, not to mention another month after to get it fixed. Auto Recon gave me an estimate an hour after I called. After approval from insurance I prepaid for parts and when they arrived at Auto Recon I dropped my car off. 1.5 weeks later my car was repaired perfectly. These guys don't have free coffee in the lobby, but they do fix your car well and on time.
