My fan under the dashboard was making a rattling noise and working intermittently. The repair was a success and the customer service was excellent. I was given a detailed electronic report which I greatly appreciate. Until today, I was a customer at a nearby shop for over 20 years but the service there has been declining and they do not offer these type of reports.The inspection report was easy to follow and thorough. Though most car repairs are costly, I did find the cost reasonable. I appreciated the excellent customer service I received from Bill and the interaction with the owners confirmed I made the right choice coming here. I plan to bring my vehicle here for future needs and highly recommend this shop.

I went in for a battery replacement and rear rotor and pads for my Grand Cherokee. Once the service was completed, i was told the remote control wasn't functioning and it should "self-recover" in some time because of the key fob battery replacement. So I took the car back and drove to my friend's house for thanksgiving dinner. Two hours later I found the car could not be moved when I was heading home. The parking brake was stuck in engaged position preventing the car from moving while the pedal can be released freely but doesn't do anything. My theory is the cable wasn't connected correctly and got loose along the way. Had to spend 450 dollars towing the car back to the shop on the night before thanksgiving from Redmond and had to rent a car for the whole weekend for $300. On Monday, I was told everything was fine after "checking". Magically, the mechanical parts in parking brake "self-recovered" (in my own words). How amazing! So I took the car back without giving them a hard time because I was too nice and those things can happen. When I got home I found two wrenches on the second row floor, and battery compartment cover was not put back, which proves that the parking brake didn't "self-recover". I was nice enough to send the wrenches back the second day in person. However, I found the following items missing from the car: 1) A dashcam worth $200; 2) A jump start kit worth $100, which I used the flashlight on the power bank to look at the wheels before towing guy arrived the other night; 3) An OBD2 scanner that I put in the trunk side pocket that worth $60. 4) A stuffed toy squirrel hanging on the rear-view mirror, which is my wife's second anniversary gift to me (I found it bizarre that anyone would be interested in that). My 12v to usb plug-in was also left on the second row floor and broken but I wasn't using it and I don't recall where I put it before. it's a minor issue anyways. I have invoices for all the items mentioned above from Amazon. Luckily, the towing guy took pictures after we dropped the car off, and the picture clearly shows the toy and dash cam was on the car. And because the remote control buttons were not functioning, I clearly remember I took the mechanical key out and use it to lock the car before I left. The answer I got was "we have no surveillance cameras neither in the parking lot nor inside the garages" and "we trust our technicians". By the way, the reason that the key fob buttons were not working was they installed the key fob battery backwards. And I clearly told them not to bother with the fob battery when I was getting the quote during the first visit. You certainly cannot trust them for key fob battery replacement, let alone other more complicated services. I will not come back to this garage and do not recommend this shop to anyone.

I ALWAYS have thorough, knowledgeable and great customer service here! They're wonderful for scheduling, and the online program they use throughout the appointments for accessing exactly what my car needs - OR DOESN'T NEED - is the best! It's great for MY keeping car records, knowing what's needed for the future for maintenance and overall awareness of my 2017 vehicle's condition. Bill is friendly, patient and genuinely honest and informative! I usually wait just across the street at Whole Foods (coffee, muffin and R & R!) during the servicing and I'm kept advised through their program of the ongoing status; i.e. a synopsis of 1) what's been checked & is good, 2) what's needed immediately, 3) what's future upkeep to consider. Including current costs! I'm so glad I've found Alderwood Auto and I trust their expertise, reliability and friendly professionalism.

These folks are super legit and honest. I trust them and that is the most important part of a relationship with your mechanic. They are super thorough, have video evidence of issues and are willing to talk thru whatever they find. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive and I value the honesty more than other places I have gone in the past. Super nice folks.

Eric and Carle were truly wonderful in their explanation of my AC repair. After diagnosing the problem they sent me great pictures and thouroughly explained my repairs. I will definitely be back and will refer family and friends to them.
