Kirkland Transmission

I sadly purchased a lemon last month and a friend reccomended I take it to Tony. He drove the car around with me and quickly identified all of my concerns. While he couldn't undo the disaster of buying a car that needs a new transmission, he was extremely helpful in explaining what was wrong and making sure I understood my next options. He listened to my concerns and answered every question I had. Highly reccomend!

Tony and his crew are always top notch. Great communication, very fair pricing, and quality work. I wish I would have found them years ago to get the work done right the first time, rather than having their team fix what I or another shop screwed up.

I was sure the transmissions is dead and it was my last hope to give it a try with this company. Tony did diagnosis, and it turned out to be just the fuse. Imaging thinking into that it’s dead car and finding out that it’s all good. I can’t express my gratitude enough, thank you Tony and team.

So this is a review just after I got the car will update if anything changes. Took my preformance car here after multiple and I mean multiple pretty much every one of the other high end preformance shops recommended this place to avoid paying preformance shops prices. They were right this shop had a pretty good labor rate and good end price over all. However subtracting a star becuase of 2 reasons. 1 they kept my car for a little while and didint tell me when I brought it in that they had quite a few other projects going on so I had to wait like a week and a half to get it. 2. The owner I believe tony is not a customer service type of guy especially someone new to this he gets annoyed quick is confused when you dont know how dropping off a car to a shop especially one like this works and dosent really want to talk and make you feel at ease leaving your car he dosent have time to talk and can get a little rude at times. So overall I liked the shop so far seems like they took good care of my car but if your a bit of a shy person and dont mind paying a bit more money I wouldn't recommend this place this is more for seasoned guys who know how a shop works who just wanna drop the car of and leave overall im pretty happy tho if customer service was increased quite a bit and we're more welcoming to new people id come back everytime otherwise im only coming back if its something specific or im short on cash. Update: tony called me earlier today and was super sweet and asked how my car was then when I explained some of my concerns with how the car feels he detailed explained why it feels that way and how I will get used to the new clutch he also assured me my car would be fine as long as I dont abuse the clutch he may have a bit of a gruff exterior but he really seems to care about his customers even when I was bothering him he still took the time to explain things I think he earns a 5 star but again be warry the shop likley dosent see many new people

I was recommended this shop by my tow truck driver and after looking at reviews had my car dropped off Saturday. Tony was awesome and already got a chance to look at my car by the time I called Monday. It ended up needing a lot of work to be road worthy again so I decided to sell it to a junk car buyer. Tony was very nice when he could have given me a lot harder of a time and I really appreciate his kindness.
