I expected a quick diagnosis. Instead, I was given one of the most dishonest, fear-based, and wildly inflated repair estimates I have ever encountered. They told me my car had multiple “critical” failures and urgently needed: • A new heater core • A complete coolant system overhaul • Both cylinder head gaskets replaced • Valve cover gaskets • Spark plugs • And thousands more in unnecessary repairs Their total estimate was nearly $10,000. The way they described the supposed “failures” was so alarming that I genuinely believed my car was done for. I was stressed, panicking, and seriously considering trading my car in for $500 and buying a used one because I thought the engine was failing. That’s how convincing and damaging their scare tactics were. But thank God I didn’t make that mistake. I took my car to Matsenko Auto Body for a second opinion — and they literally saved me thousands of dollars. Here’s what Matsenko found: ✔️ NO head gasket failure ✔️ NO heater core issue ✔️ NO catastrophic engine problems ✔️ NO need for any of the massive repairs Kirkland Autoworks tried to sell me ✔️ The real issue? 👉 Just the thermostat. A simple, inexpensive fix. Matsenko was honest, transparent, and genuinely cared about helping me. They walked me through everything, showed me the truth, and treated me with respect — the exact opposite of what I experienced at Kirkland Autoworks. Because of Matsenko, I kept my car, saved thousands, and avoided being taken advantage of. Kirkland Autoworks’ behavior wasn’t a misunderstanding — it was predatory, unethical, and harmful. I can in for a vibration in my car. This shop told me I had three bearings that needed to be replaced. The repair was over $2000. I wanted to get another opinion. The next shop told me that all of my bearings were fine. None needed to be replaced. The vibration turned out to be caused by the tires. I saved myself over $2000 by not taking this shops word for it. The owner called me and apologized for the mistake and refunded the diagnostic.

“I came in requesting an A/C refrigerant evacuation and recharge for my Tesla. The shop had availability and the equipment, but as soon as I mentioned the vehicle was a Tesla, I was repeatedly told ‘we don’t do Tesla’ without any explanation. I would have appreciated a professional explanation regarding policy, liability, or EV service limitations rather than a dismissive response.”

The staff was super friendly, patient, and answered all my questions without rushing. On top of that, they even changed the battery in my car keys , such a sweet and unexpected gesture.
