Scott Oien, best shop I been too. They charge a little more for diagnostics but it's worth it they do a super thorough check. They fixed me up and sent me on my way many a time in the past 20 years, brought about 4 cars here over the decades. Always taken care of, knowledge and most important forward with you about parts cost and labor. Best shop in 50 miles

They were friendly, explained everything in detail, offered a great price, and even called afterward to make sure everything was working properly and that I wasn't having any issues after the repair. I really appreciated the outstanding customer service and highly recommend them.
View on GoogleWe ended up taking our car to a different mechanic for a second opinion and received a less scary diagnosis at a much more reasonable price. We were initially told the vehicle was unsafe to drive and should not be on the road, which was understandably concerning. However, two other mechanics independently assessed the car and disagreed with that diagnosis. We proceeded with the recommended repair elsewhere, and the car is now fixed and driving perfectly. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing major repairs.
View on GoogleI took my 2004 F150 in for a flywheel replacement. They insisted that they "take a look at it" quoted me $300. A high price for a check up but with the reviews, the proximity to my house I thought it would be worth it and go towards the final repair bill. So I towed my truck to their shop. Jay's proceeded to charge me $600 to take off the starter and look at the flywheel ( A 30 minute job for any skilled mechanic). With the state my flywheel was in it was very apparent at even a cursory glance it needed replacement. (The job I had originally asked to be done) It took them three days to get around to doing the job after I towed it there. After being informed I'd be charged $600 for "taking a look at it", Jay's proceeds to quote me $4800 to do the job I originally requested. I immediately went to Jay's and towed it that same day to a shop less than two miles away. The new shop charged me $2200 for the same work. It was done much more promptly and professionally. After I called around and informed other local shops of what I was going to be charged, they all couldn't believe it. TLDR: Jay's Kirkland Autocare was trying to charge me $5400 dollars for a $2200 job. They also up-charged me after I already towed my truck there.

The staff was polite and professional, and the waiting time was minimal. While my oil was being changed, I was able to sit in the office and get some work done, which was very convenient. Overall, an stress-free and pleasant experience. Highly recommend! Olga Leona
