Chevrolet Service - Lee Johnson

I brought my Equinox EV in for annual check up on a Saturday. Luckily I had arranged for a loaner because when I dropped it for what I thought was a couple of hour procedure I was informed that they would call Monday to let me know how it was coming along! I have had a problem with my cruise controller working 5-10 percent of the time. They said they fixed it but, although it worked when I tried it on my way home from the dealership, now, the last 5 times it has not come on. Just like before. Service folks were very nice and helpful but it is annoying to not have something fixed that I was told was fixed. Same problem with the heat not working.

Never received communication without asking for it first. Car was in the shop for a month and a half with only vague replies on progress. We were deciding if it should even be fixed or if the cost would be too much. Went ahead with the fix, but then it turned out there were more issues that weren’t caught the first time around. Generally did not feel supported or like I had clarity on what was happening. It’s difficult for me to trust I’m not being overcharged when communication is so poor. Very frustrating start to the year. Will not be going back.

Avoid! Avoid! Do NOT use Lee Johnson for service. I was charged double what other local dealers charge, received poor service, and felt completely cheated. I brought in my C8 Corvette for a warranty check and a transmission service. Not only did they take 8 days instead of the promised 3, but they also tried to charge me for a warranty inspection that we agreed prior would be covered. The real scam was the pricing. They quoted me ambiguously via text with no "total" price given, leading me to believe the transmission service was roughly $1100. When the bill came, they charged $2200 ($1000 for fluid + $1100 for the filter). For comparison, Everett Chevy charges $1100 total and Bellevue Chevy charges $1300. Lee Johnson is charging double the market rate. To make matters worse, they didn't even reset the maintenance reminder in the car. If I hadn't noticed, I would have been tricked into servicing the car again too early. It makes me wonder if they even did the work. The manager refused to make it right or match local prices. Drive a little further to Everett or Bellevue and SAVE A LOT. Avoid Lee Johnson.

Extremely dishonest appraisal process at Lee Johnson Chevrolet Kirkland. I received a KBB Instant Cash Offer for $13,000 and brought my car in. After a quick test drive, their appraiser claimed my engine had 'serious mechanical issues' and tried to lowball me with a $6,000 offer. That’s a $7,000 drop based on a false claim. ​I immediately drove to CarMax, where they performed a thorough inspection, found ZERO issues with the engine, and paid me the full $13,000 on the spot. If Lee Johnson tells you your car has 'problems' to justify a lower price, do not trust them. Go to CarMax instead. Truly a predatory 'bait and switch' tactic.

Grant and his team are the best! I dropped off my Chevy for a quick oil change and I was in and out in record time. They went above and beyond and vacuumed the interior and gave me a voucher to get my car washed.
