So Caitlin Haney started off rude right off the bat. I almost pulled out of doing the inspection for an estimate for my insurance as I was getting two inspections done. They also were enforcing that I signed paperwork that they will be doing the repairs in accordance with the written estimate. That is not what we agreed on. We agreed they will be doing an inspection only. They are not trustworthy. Do not go with carstar. They are sneaky and rude! They were upset that they didn't know for sure that they were going to be the ones doing the repairs. They also are not a full service shop. They have vendors come in to do work and inspections. There's no point in using carstar find a full service shop. She was also a her/him so if you don't want that looking at your vehicle and them using a bunch of other vendors to inspect your vehicle. Go somewhere else! I did a drop off and they kept it for 2 days to tell me this!

Very unprofessional experience. The Seltos badge that this company previously repaired on my bumper started coming off, so I called the Kirkland location listed on Google Maps. A man answered, scheduled an appointment, and told me it would be a simple fix. I took time out of my workday to go in, only to discover that the Kirkland location was permanently closed. I called again, and my call was redirected to the Bellevue location. The employee there told me the Kirkland location had been closed for about a month, and she could not even find my appointment in the system. She then said she would order the part and call me back to schedule an appointment. I asked how she would contact me if she couldn't access my file or see my appointment information. I never received a callback. I followed up myself and was then told I needed to come in so they could glue the badge back on. I also asked them to correct my file and send me an appointment confirmation, which I never received. Once again, I left work to attend the appointment. When I arrived, the employee again could not find my appointment. She called to a man in the back, who appeared to be watching videos on his phone. He started yelling at her, then came out as if nothing had happened. He asked what the issue was, walked out to my car, looked at it, and then told me they needed to order a part. Several more weeks passed. I called again and left a voicemail. No one ever responded. The entire experience has been confusing, disorganized, and frustrating. I simply want my car repaired, but after multiple appointments, missed follow-ups, and poor communication, I still have no idea what is going on.

Excellent service at CARSTAR Collision Clinic Bellevue. I had my vehicle repaired here after an accident, and the entire process was smooth and professional. The team communicated clearly, provided regular updates, and worked directly with the insurance company, which made everything much easier for me. The repair was completed on time, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. The paint match is perfect, and the car looks like new again. You can tell they pay attention to details. Overall, very reliable and professional shop. I would definitely come back and highly recommend them to anyone needing collision repair.

We used CARSTAR again after our car was hit in the parking lot and they were great. They worked seamlessly with the other party’s insurance and completed the repairs quickly and on time. There was a problem with one part on the bumper but Julia at the Bellevue office was great. She got the part and followed up with us in less than a week and even reminded me to pick up the part when I had been delayed.

“I had an extremely disappointing and disrespectful experience at this shop. I called ahead and explained my situation clearly — I have a Progressive insurance claim and needed a damage estimate for my vehicle. The lady on the phone was very helpful and gave me an appointment. However when I arrived with my towed vehicle a senior male staff member was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. He refused to inspect my vehicle and demanded a claim number even though I offered to pay out of pocket for the estimate. What was most concerning was that he appeared to pressure the lady who gave me the appointment to not provide me with a proper estimate. She had been helpful on the phone but after his interference I did not receive the proper service I was promised. Because of this unprofessional behavior I wasted approximately $550 on towing costs to bring my vehicle there and back for absolutely nothing. I would strongly advise anyone looking for honest and professional collision repair to look elsewhere. This shop does not treat customers with basic respect and dignity especially when they are already going through a difficult time after an accident. I will be reporting this Better Business Bureau.”
