Jose is awesome! Had a shuttle bus with no brakes in my driveway. Texted him, he responded quickly, came out the next day. He diagnosed, explained everything to me, went and got a replacement part and was back the next day to install it. He showed me everything, took a test drive with me. Charged what he said he would charge. Communicates well via text. Overall he is I think a rare find...a reliable, competent, customer-focused mechanic. I will always go back to Jose.

I was charged $150 for a 5–10 minute diagnostic, which the mechanic claimed is a standard rate across the U.S. He also mentioned he'd discount $30 if I accepted the repair quote, which is yet to be provided. While I understand mobile mechanics have overhead, this felt excessive for such a brief visit with no actual work done. It reminded me of going to a doctor who charges $300 just to tell you what the treatment might cost later — not exactly reassuring. I believe mechanics, like any service professionals, should aim to build trust and long-term relationships, not just charge for every minute of driving or setup. This experience left me feeling more like a transaction than a valued customer.

Jose came out to fix an older Massey Ferguson Tractor I recently purchased… not being familiar with a tractor and it’s issues, Jose took to figuring out the issues on this old jewel like a pro. Efficient and professional in on all ways possible had the tractor running in less than a hour at a reasonable price. Other mechanics throw up their hands and walked away from this job but not Jose. I would highly recommend this mechanic as he was more than just proficient he was wonder worker . Jose had my tractor running perfectly…he is highly recommend .

I had an issue with my car's brakes failing so I googled mobile mechanics and found Jose with AMX. Gave him a call and scheduled an appointment. He came out and diagnosed the issue, went to buy the parts, and fixed my car all in the same day. He provided great service and was a very personable guy. Parts and labor were significantly cheaper than what a dealership quoted. Would definitely recommend!
