Took my truck to them in March of 2025.Truck was not running very bad but wasn’t shifting as it’s supposed to.Was told I needed a total transmission rebuild. I asked them if they were going to put a rebuilt transmission in and I was told they don’t make my transmission anymore and they needed to rebuild it in house. I went ahead with the repair with a 1 year so called warranty.Picked up the truck about a week later and the truck ran fairly well,for about 3 weeks or so and then it would intermittently start to shake at different speeds.Called them to set an appointment for them to check it out,got the truck in and waited about a week to call and check the status.Was told they hadn’t had a chance to look at it but would get on it soon.Later the same day was called and told they couldn’t find anything wrong with my truck.Went through this 3 times with the same results.Finally took it to another shop and was told that it was transmission related and I needed to take it back under warranty to get it taken care of.Was told by the owner Chad,from the get go said he thought it was the cats or a tuneup.When I told him another shop had diagnosed it and said it was transmission related he didn’t want to hear it and hung up on the other shops technician. I took it it back for the 4th time in a year and finally got it to stop shaking and said it was transmission related but would not give me paperwork or would tell me specifically what they had did.Come to find out they do make my transmission rebuilt but I guess the shop got me on this one.How this place is still in business is unreal to me.Beware of this establishment!

About 5 years ago I had Wright Transmission rebuild my 2007 Chevy Avalanche Transmission. They did a great job and I have had absolutely no problems. Would certainly recommend them and use them again if I had a transmission problem. Best place I know. Price was reasonable. I purchased the Avalanche new in 2007 and the transmission still works perfect.

My daughter’s truck needed a quick repair to replace a speed sensor inside the transmission and wright transmission was very fast at getting the vehicle in, evaluated the issue and ordered parts immediately. We were able to get the truck back the next day for holiday travel and for her to get back to college. Very helpful and responsive. Thank you Mr Wright!! Highly Recommend
