Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Service Refusal and Unprofessional Conduct To whom it may concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the treatment I received at your Auto Stop location on June 4, 2026 my husband brought our vehicle in for a scheduled service—replacement of the front brakes pads and rotors for which I was quoted $675. After dropping off the vehicle, I received a call stating that the front struts were leaking and that the rear springs needed replacement. I informed the technician that the rear springs had already been replaced approximately two months ago under a Ford recall. I also asked whether the shop would still complete the brake service I originally authorized. Instead of providing clear information or allowing me to approve or decline additional repairs, the technician stated he did not feel the brake pulsation would be corrected without replacing the struts. When I attempted to clarify my request, the technician raised his voice, the conversation escalated, and he ultimately told me to “come get your car” before abruptly hanging up. We Took the car to a reputable auto repair shop. They replaced the front brake pads and rotor. The struts were just fine. This conduct was unprofessional, disrespectful, and inconsistent with standard automotive service practices. At no point did I decline the brake service I came in for, nor was I given a written estimate or documentation supporting the additional repairs being recommended.

View on GoogleThis place doesnt even deserve a full star on service alone! While Ronnie is a good technician, the apparent owner and son are EXTREMELY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS! Customers cannot call and ask for a service without being asked WHY they want the service! When I tried to explain this young son was LOUD and rude and told me forget go some place else! Wow! No wonder Firestone has is doing so well!

Their cost is affordable, and I appreciate that they stick to their timelines, which means that if the car is going to be ready by the time you finish work, it will be waiting for you!!! The mechanics will gladly take the time to address any inquiries you may have. I would absolutely return for any future work because I am quite pleased with the service and workmanship.
