1/5 Stars - Complete Nightmare I brought my truck in for a check engine light, though it was running perfectly fine at the time. After their diagnostic, I approved $700 in repairs for a purge valve and vapor canister. I was asked to pick it up at 3:00 PM, but when I arrived, the truck wasn't ready and clearly wasn't running right. I had to come back the next day, and it has been a disaster ever since. The truck is now undriveable. I nearly got into a serious accident trying to merge into traffic because the vehicle just wouldn't accelerate. I am currently having it towed to another shop to figure out what they did. To make matters worse, they tried to claim it might be the oil pump—an issue that wouldn't even cause these symptoms and was already replaced recently. Avoid this shop. I paid $700 to have a functional vehicle turned into a safety hazard. Review will be deleted with a refund.

First of all, I'd like to apologize to the owner and staff for this late review. I had been having A/C issues. Other shops frightened me away with their price quotes along with other things that they would have to do. The Bear came up with a 3 tier process to get the job do. I was skeptical because none of the other shops mentioned anything about the compressor. Not wanting to deal with another summer with no A/C, I gave the permission to move forward. I got my truck and it been nearly two where I haven't had any issues. It's nice having the option of adjusting the thermostat. I think I've found my automotive shop. Thanks guys!!!

I went into BB for a simple oil change because I didn’t feel like getting oily hands and having to dispose of the oil so I took them up on their $20 off coupon deal. I thought great, a quick oil change and I’m off. Note: I do all my own mechanical work on my 2003 Jaguar SK8. This was right before Covid hit or I would have taken them to court over this because I was so infuriated. While it was in their shop I was called up and was told I needed a new drive belt because it was chaffing and the shock pads on the upper end of my front shocks need replacing. This fascinated me because I recently replaced these items within the previous three to four months. So when I got back up to their shop we opened the hood of my car and the drive belt showed damage like would be created by a tool approximately the same size as a number six screw drive was held in place against a bracket and it cut a perfect width groove cut into the belt and the rubber bumpers on the upper end of the shock absorbers were literally melted by Some sort of chemical. I assure you I show the following pictures to anyone who say they going to the black bear for mechanical service. They create extra work for themselves by damaging your cars. They can lie to you and feel confident in doing it. It is allowed in their society and faith. Do not trust them. I know because I am Arabic myself. They will lie to gain business. They will be caught but please be careful by choosing to use them at all. There are other shops out there so why even take the chance using this shop. They have a lot of positive reviews but believe me there are as many negative reviews but the negative reviews don’t usually get written until we are reminded to do so. Like I was. I’m adding a couple pictures for your review. It took me four days to repair the damage they created plus another $350. Don’t let them roll you. Take pictures of your engine before you put your car in. Hide cameras and record them doing the work. They are unworthy of your trust. The first is exterior of strut housing where the rubber bumper was installed. The second is a picture of Inside of the housing where the rubber melted inside the cover and the last is the formed puddle of rubber. I can’t find the pictures of the drive belt so do what you may but be careful and be warned. Go somewhere else. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Good luck.

Hands down the best shop I have used in years. I've been here with 3 different cars in the past year and each time their repair assessment was spot on without overcharging by adding on unnecessary repairs. They handled my AC, suspension and oil pan gasket. After overpaying at the corporate shops, I will not use anyone else for repairs
