NTB-National Tire & Battery

I took my car in for a tire patch, and somehow they ended up breaking my key fob and would not own up to it or take accountability. I gave possession of my vehicle to "Jasmine," the NTB receptionist. She claimed the key was already broken (Bladen lie), but when I went to turn the car on, the key failed to turn due to the fob being broken. Fresh glue residue was still on the key. I then spoke to John Guzman (store manager) and Henry Wadsorth (service manager), who then told me that none of the employees would be getting in trouble for their actions (which isn't the point). They then "spoke" to their crew, and no one owned up to breaking my key. They claimed I did it and that they wouldn't do anything for me. Don't waste your time at this location with sleazy workers with no customer skills. I gain nothing from this but an inconvenience and an expense. if they would have offered a solution I would not need to escalate this. If you want trust worthy work don’t come here.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon inspection it was found that I really needed new brake pads. I was going to have to wait until the following month for financial reasons. Mike went above and beyond to help me where I was able to take care of them right then. I highly recommend this NTB ask for Mike!!

The front receptionist girl was snooty and putting blame on a first time customer. Won't be giving them business again. For a business named National Tire & Battery they are incredibly SLOW doing tires. Corporate needs to pay the techs more so they aren't short handed or get better techs. I booked an appointment via phone call for a set of 4 new tires over the phone. The appointment was at 10am. I got another phone call confirming the appointment and the service receptionist estimated 1hr 30min for the tires to be changed. Then when we arrived it increased to over 2 hours since they were busy... So appointments are pointless. After waiting for 3 hours they called as I was waiting in the coffee shop next door. They said they just finished the tires and we're going to start the alignment. It took another 40 minutes to check the alignment. I agreed to pay for them to fix the alignment as the tires were 400$ and didn't want a bad alignment to ruin them. Another 100$ for the alignment was done. For 4 tires and an alignment it took 4 hours! The work performed seemed decent but nothing exceptional. They didn't clean the rims and tires like discount tire has done for me and automatically replace valve stems. They just did the standard mount and balance nothing more. I'll give them credit for letting me know the front brakes were bad. But didn't want to wait another lunar new year for them to get them done. They didn't ask me if I wanted to pay extra for valve stems. So they just gave me my car with the old valve stems. The receptionist blamed me for not adding it to the appointment. Like I was supposed to know they don't automatically include valve stems on a new tire install like 90% of other tire shops do..

I’ve been to NTB several times now for an oil change, new brakes, and a full set of new tires, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff is always friendly, professional, and upfront about what my car needs. They explain everything clearly without trying to upsell unnecessary services, which I really appreciate. The work they’ve done on my car has been reliable every time. My oil change was quick, my brakes feel brand new, and the new tires made a huge difference in how smooth my car drives. They finished everything in a reasonable time and kept me updated throughout the process. Overall, NTB has definitely earned my trust. If you’re looking for honest, efficient, and quality car service, I highly recommend them!

Yazmine at the desk was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the whole visit. Lance checked my alignment and explained everything clearly, which made me feel confident in his findings. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back.
