⭐️ 1 STAR — WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD I had one of the most stressful and disappointing service experiences ever at Grapevine Dodge. My advisor was Rich, and from the start he came across as overly aggressive and power‑driven. I brought in my 2021 Ram 1500 for transmission issues and asked them to complete the repair through my MBPI extended warranty. They kept my truck for almost a week, put me in a rental, and eventually told me the transmission needed to be replaced. When I asked for my truck back while waiting for warranty approval, they made me pay the diagnostic fee and the full cost of the rental before handing over my keys. Rich was very forceful about payment, which instantly felt like a red flag. The following week, MBPI requested a test drive with an adjuster and technician. I brought the truck back—only for them to suddenly claim they “couldn’t replicate the issue.” Then I’m told I need to bring the truck back AGAIN so they can drop the transmission pan and check the fluid. I left it with them while I was out of town, and they finally got the repairs approved and the transmission ordered. When I returned, they informed me they didn’t actually have the transmission due to “logistics issues” from a snowstorm. Two more weeks passed, during which I had to juggle multiple rentals—some out of my own pocket. After everything, they still charged me a $200 deductible and refused to reimburse the first loaner fee and diagnostic charge. In total, I paid around $1000 for a process that should have only cost me $200. Add the stress, delays, and lack of transparency, and I genuinely felt taken advantage of. I will never return here for service again. Followup: this shop is extremely sketchy and using unethical practices. I was told by rich the advisor that the only way they could get it replaced was to unplug a sensor and drive it till a light came on. He also said the needed to use bad fluid from another transmission to make it look like it has metal shavings in it. I’ve filed a BBB complaint and I’ve filed a complaint with the state attorneys office. Even after all of this, the real problem wasn’t even the transmission. They falsely diagnosed the issue and then went through all this headache just to get the money from the insurance company for the transmission.

Misleading! Ten years ago I'd go here with confidence feeling I could ask anything and be treated fairly by a staff that valued transparency and integrity, but those days are gone. Communication was minimal and misleading to the benefit of the business' profit. We felt lied to when we first dropped it off since information kept changing and getting more expensive. I had to fight to get any detailed information. What should have been a simple repair cost us double what it would have anywhere else, and then we were basically told they'd done us a favor taking off $20 here and $30 there on a $1,000 invoice. We will never again use their service shop, nor will we purchase a vehicle here as we've lost all trust in this business.

BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE BUYING A USED CAR HERE. I purchased a 2021 BMW 5 series in September. I had a minor accident in early November and while having the body damage repaired it was discovered that there was significant damage and improper repair work on the frame rail of the vehicle from a previous accident which the dealership did not disclose to me before buying the car. The body shop informed me that they would not be able to proceed with fixing my repairs (which are covered by my insurance) until the previous damage was fixed because it is a significant enough safety issued that they legally are not able to. I have been informed that in order to fix the previous damage it will be $12,000 at least and might end up being more after the work is started. The body shop contacted Grapevine Chrysler Dodge to explain the damage to them as well as sent them pictures and gave them the price estimate. The dealership initially told me that they would help me with this and also that they did not know about the previous damage, but that they were waiting to hear back from the previous owner of the car from to get more information about the accident and repairs. I assumed that they grapevine Chrysler Dodge was going to do the right thing and help me out with this. I heard back from the sales manager a couple of days later, and he informed me that they did not know about this damage and that the inspection process that they perform on cars before selling them would not have been able to discover this defect. He explained to me that they are victims of this as well, but that if I brought the vehicle to their body shop, they would give me a courtesy credit of $2500 to work on it and “try” and fix it. The body shop informed me that since Grapevine Chrysler Dodge is not BMW certified that they would not even be able to order the part necessary to fix it anyway. The bottom line is they sold me an expensive defective vehicle and have essentially told me that I am on my own to fix it myself. I would be very careful before purchasing a used vehicle here if they don’t do the inspections necessary to detect serious safety issues in their vehicles and if such an issue is discovered later, they will ultimately not take responsibility for it. I know that there is always a certain amount of risk in purchasing a used car, but I put my trust and faith in the dealership to inspect their cars properly and if something this serious was discovered later, I thought that they would have done the right thing and helped me out. That was not the case. If you are thinking about purchasing a used vehicle from them, I would strongly suggest getting it thoroughly inspected on your own first or better yet just avoiding this dealership altogether. I made a very expensive mistake purchasing from Grapevine Chrysler Dodge.

I paid $300 and waited 5 days for them to say the battery needed to be replaced. They wanted to charge me another $300 for a new battery. They promised a car wash with the diagnostic and didn't even deliver on that. Definitely feels like they don't care about the customer and want to squeeze as much money out as they can
