DFW Collision - Grapevine

Before repair…. Three weeks have passed, and I am still waiting for the fine-tuning needed to achieve the quality—supposedly Toyota-standard—that I expect; overall, however, I give them an 8 out of 10. Once it’s finished, I’ll show the final results. After three weeks and some fine-tuning, a good result was achieved, reaching 95% satisfaction. Just need to pay a bit more attention to the finer details; otherwise, an excellent option.

Rachel and David at DFW Collision in Grapevine did an outstanding job on my Toyota Tacoma! After getting hit in a parking lot, I was looking for an experienced body shop to repair my truck. Rachel was excellent communicating with me during the process and I got the truck back much faster than expected. Not only was the truck repaired, it looks brand new! I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again if needed.

Our vehicle isn't even complete at this point, but Marcus has already earned them a ONE STAR. My wife was rear-ended by another driver. The Dealership stated that we should take the vehicle here for repairs. When we arrived, August 5th, Marcus looked it over and after his inspection, began writing information on the windows. When I witnessed this, I asked if he was taking the vehicle that day. He stated yes that is how they do things. I told him that he would have issues with ordering parts, namely the front sensor, and that he should wait, but he assured us that there wouldn't be any issues. My fault for trusting him. Today is September 3rd, and we are well past the August 23rd initial completion promise. Of course, we're waiting on the front sensor with no arrival date as of today. Tomorrow, my rental car coverage is over. I knew that I should have kept my very drivable vehicle until the parts came in, or taken it to Caliber Collision like I have done in the past with very successful results. Caliber allowed us to keep our vehicle while they ordered parts and actually wouldn't take our vehicle in for repairs until all of the parts arrived. Marcus earns a ONE STAR. I'm sure he'll take zero responsibility for this as he is certainly the type who refuses to accept responsibility. I'd assert that his coworkers would agree with my assessment. I now have my vehicle and the ONE STAR is still earned and deserved. When I dropped off the vehicle, I alerted Marcus to the lift gate making a rattling noise as I drove from the fact that the vehicle was rear-ended. Now that I have my vehicle back, this issue was clearly never addressed. It's such a blatant nuisance It's impossible to ignore and leads me to believe that the vehicle was never test driven. We will have to take the vehicle back as the rear lift gate has not been adequately addressed. October 21, 2025 UPDATE - I just attached a video of the rattle that DFW Collision claims does not exist and refuses to fix. This rattling of the lift gate did not exist before we were rear-ended. ONE STAR still deserved. Please, do yourself a favor and DO NOT bring your vehicle here. October 27, 2025 - Update. I took my vehicle to Crest Nissan in Frisco. They were wonderful. They did have to replace some broken parts on the lift gate and tighten the bumper stop. This was an easy fix for the professionals at Crest Nissan. No more rattle of the lift gate. DFW Collision well earned their ONE STAR from us.

A beautiful looking and stress-free front fender repair. The paint blend is seamless. Also more parts were replaced than I thought necessary like multiple sensors that were still working but were replaced cause they might be prone to future failure. Very friendly, professional communication. Easy and prompt. Can't recommend enough.
