Steele’s Truck and Auto has helped me out multiple times with both my current and previous vehicles, most recently with new tires at a great price. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I won’t take my vehicles anywhere else and highly recommend Steele’s to anyone needing reliable mechanical work.
View on GoogleI have taken my car to Steele's for routine oil changes and state inspections & emissions work since 2024. My experience with Steele's has typically been that they provide good customer service, are easy to schedule appointments with and to talk to, and provide quality work on the cars they service. My experience changed when I got a phone call from Andrew Steele at 5:06pm this evening. I called Steele's and spoke with Andrew two weeks ago on 12/29/25 to schedule an oil change for 1/6/26 at 8am. Andrew called me tonight to tell me, "I don't think we're gonna be able to work on your car tomorrow" and that he would be cancelling the appointment. When I asked him why he was doing this, he told me that it was due to "extenuating circumstances". I asked him what he meant by that and he wouldn't answer my question. I asked him if it was about any issue with the staff or the shop itself, and he said no. When I asked him what I was supposed to do about my car needing an oil change and where I was supposed to go from there, he simply said, "I'm not sure what to tell ya". I'm not certain exactly what "extenuating circumstances" led to Andrew cancelling an appointment that I made two weeks ago the night before without explanation. I'm also left curious as to why Andrew would not offer any recommendation for another mechanic or solution to this problem that he created for me as a customer. This is poor customer service and frankly unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend Steele's Truck & Auto Repair unless you're ok with your appointment being canceled last minute for "extenuating circumstances" without further explanation.
