Usually these guys are pretty good and whether this was a one off I’m not sure but : I gave them the highest score for honesty which I appreciate . However a few items while understandable … resulted in a frustrating experience for me : specific tires requested were not ordered thus I had to return to the shop another day and once service was done I was called to advise I needed to come back so they could put on the lug protectors which the tech forgot to do. Not a big deal but it is when you have a hamster wheel schedule like mine . No attempts made to apply a discount for the inconveniences . Not a good experience this time ….

Very good experience, fast turnaround time. Needed inspection on one of my fleet vehicles. They were able to get me a next-day inspection and out the door by 10 AM. Will definitely use them in the future for all our vehicle needs, located within five minutes of our shop location, Steel City Plumbers in Bridgeville

We were on our way to Florida from Canada when our alternator began to fail. We got off the highway in Bridgeville, PA and found ourselves in the Protech Service Centre parking lot at 5 am where we waited until it opened. Greg the store manager arrived a few hours later and we explained our situation. He was very helpful and we felt comfortable leaving the vehicle in his hands as we proceeded to transfer everything into a rental vehicle and continue on our journey. While in Florida he informed us that it may not be the alternator and that we should check something else first which we agreed. In the end it wasn’t the alternator and the total cost ended being less than it could have been. We want to thank Greg and the mechanic for their integrity in diagnosing and repairing our vesicle. It’s reassuring to know that people like them still very much exist. Arrangements were made to pay for the services while still in Florida and to pick up the vehicle while they were closed on our drive back to Canada. The van drove perfectly the rest of the way back to all the snow! Much appreciated Protech!

I had a grinding in the front wheel when applying the brakes. Chevrolet Silverado 2500. I called several places but they were booked several days ahead. I called Protech and they squeezed me in same day. I needed brakes and rotors on all 4 wheels. Since I haul horses and a camper they suggested I upgrade to heavy duty brakes and rotors, great advice. They had the job done in a couple of hours. Very knowledgeable and friendly employees.

Over pricing parts. Everyone was super friendly and nice. We had car trouble and they where close by. They were able to get the car in to see what was going on that day. We had our sick dog with us and needed to get to a vet appointment so we got picked up and they called later with the issue and a general price to fix it. Being stranded as it was i told them to go ahead. Car was ready later that day. We picked it up and started home only to have the engine light come on again. Finally got home after a long stressful day. The next day I looked at the bill. I was completely shocked to see that we were charged 700 dollars for parts I could have got at any local parts store for under 200. I feel they knew we were in a spot and distressed and took advantage of us. While very friendly I will never go there again and I will make sure friend's and family don't either.
