Okay so I came here a couple of times I went there because they work on foreign cars, they told me I needed a thermostat told me $400 and something dollars I said okay. Then they come back and tell me I need a radiator so my bill ended up being $1,800. My car was already apart so I had to pay the $1,800 so then I go back to another time because my ball joint was squeaking. The mechanic tells me that I need a new ball joint and I'm going to need a control arm or the arm neck connects to the ball joint. So I took his word for it I said okay book me up. Well my car starts squeaking more before I can get me into a shop. So I go to a very reliable mechanic that doesn't like to work on foreign cars and I said I just need a ball joint. My mechanic says how do you know? I said because the mechanic told me he says okay we'll bring it here and let me see what I can do he packs my ball joint with grease tell me I don't owe him anything.. MORAL TO THE STORY MAKE SURE YOU GET ANOTHER ESTIMATE BECAUSE THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE THAT PEOPLE ARE GOING TO TAKE THEIR WORD !! SO BEFORE YOU PAY AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE BABY GETTING A SECOND ESTIMATE WILL SAVE YOU AT LEAST $1000-$1,5000 WITH MY THERMOSTAT I FIGURED OKAY MAYBE HE WAS WRONG IT WASN'T A THERMOSTAT IT WAS A RADIATOR. THEY KEPT TELLING ME THEY NEEDED TO BLEED THE COOLANT LINES I WAS NOT THE RADIATOR. THEN ALL THE SUDDEN I GOT THE CALL SAYING I NEED A NEW RADIATOR FOR ANOTHER $1,500.. NOT ONLY THAT THEY DISCONNECTED PARTS IN MY ENGINE FOR MY COOLANT SYSTEM TO BYPASS.. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT THE BALL JOINT NEEDED TO BE GREASED AND DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED AND DEFINITELY NO KIND OF ARM CONNECTED TO THE BALL JOINT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. DUMP TRUCK WITH EVERYONE SAYS

Went for an inspection today and was out within an hour, with the inspection complete and no issues. I had gone to a competitor on Monroe Ave a couple months back (Tire...) and he wanted me to charge for changing rear tires. But these guys didn't find anything wrong with the tires, they also filled up air on the one tire that was low. Very honest and they are so busy. So you might need to wait a while. edit May 2025 First the good - I had been to this store previously for a state inspection and I was impressed since they passed the inspection without asking for unwanted things to get done, compared to a tire place I went previously, who wanted me to get tires replaced to pass the inspection. So that part is still true, they don't recommend unwanted things to be done to the car. The bad - this time I went for an oil change, and I didn't know they only do synthetic oil changes, so if your car doesn't need synthetic, you are still stuck with it and end up paying 60+$. I wish they advertise it on their website or mention it when setting up the appointment. They also did recommend a service which I think was a needed service, since it was coming up soon on the recommended service on the car user manual. When they quoted the price, before replacing it - they only mentioned the cost of the part and not the labor. So when it was time to pay, the total price was more than what I was hoping for. I wish they would have quoted the full price. And when I checked on the repair pal dot com, the same service for my model car was 27% less than what these guys charged me, and I am comparing the higher limit of the price range from repair pal website. So definitely not a cheap place to get your car serviced. I might have as well got the service done at the dealer, where they let you know before hand the total cost of the service. The only drawback with the dealer is they tend to add unwanted services. I was looking at some of the regulars who came in, and the smart thing they were doing was they had already bought the parts themselves and were only getting them installed here. I am guessing that could bring your cost down, because for the part they installed for me they charged me 2 times more compared to if I had bought it myself. And also they charged me for miscellaneous things like rags, chemicals, hardware etc., - I am not sure if this is standard practice. Another thing that I didn't ask for but got charged anyhow was, windshield washer fluid. Never been charged before at any other place for this. It was almost like they don't want me to come back to this place :) I don't remember seeing this in any past reviews that the oil change here is Synthetic only, so get your oil changed here - only if your car needs synthetic. As of May 2025, labor cost here is 140$. Hope this review helps future customers.

We had a great experience there- good service and fast.

Drove 1700 miles for a sudden family thing, hit some bad roads in Tennessee, rush ordered some parts, and these guys were cool about putting them. They appear to have done an excellent job. They DID do some things above and beyond and I thank them for it. Honest and thorough.
