I started bringing our cars to Terry Young about 2 years ago. I always enjoy talking to the guys there, and they have been nothing but fair, honest, reasonable and accommodating. I genuinely trust Terry and his team and don't imagine we'll ever take our cars anywhere else.

I’ve used Terry and company for all my car stuff for years now. I can’t say enough good things. Honest, good, communicates well.

I had an extremely disturbing experience with this company, which towed my vehicle after the Orchard Park Police (who had my keys in their possession) forced me into a hospital on false reports,which I was immediately released from. My car was “impounded” less than half a mile away, in an ungated parking lot DIRECTLY across the street from my abusive ex who has a history of utilizing his law enforcement buddies to harass me, and left there overnight for about 15 hours. When I picked it up, it was not in the same condition as when it was taken: My brake lights, which worked fine during my inspection only 10 days earlier, were suddenly not working. There was no issue with them until this incident. This conveniently “corroborated” the police’s false reason for pulling me over. My car, which had been driving smoothly, now required tire balancing and an alignment — damage consistent with improper towing or reckless handling. The interior of my car had clearly been gone through: compartments were open, bags had been moved, and items were missing or altered. The company’s involvement came after nearly two weeks of visible surveillance and harassment by OPPD and crisis services, and just minutes after the same police presence was spotted at my ex’s apartment complex, the person who provided the false reports with ill intentions. This company may look kind and caring on the surface, but in practice they are little more than a tool for the police to harass and harm people. They had no concern that children ride in this car, and their actions have left me with hundreds of dollars, possibly thousands, in repairs while I’m already in a difficult financial situation. It is sickening that a company would willingly participate in this kind of misconduct. I would strongly encourage anyone to avoid this business and support towing/repair companies that act ethically and responsibly instead of enabling abuse.

I have been going to Terry for almost 25 years and would never go anywhere else. He is honest, fair, and fixes any car issue, large or small. I trust him completely and recommend him to all car owners in the area. Finally, Terry, his brother Frank, Dave, and Shawn are all really good guys who care.

Terry has always been honest, helpful, timely and fair. He is the car equivalent of a physician, and is much like my favorite NPR show, Car Talk. Wicked smart, and a wicked sense of humor. We took his statement of ‘drive in anytime’ literally on multiple occasions, and most recently, had an electrical malfunction on our Sienna just as we were leaving for a vacation at 7pm, we drove straight to Terry’s. Thankfully he was still open, and got the car safe to drive on. Terry and his staff have been phenomenal for the past 12 years, and will continue to utilize their expertise for years and years to come.
