Best people and service at Freeman’s! So grateful for Steve and his team. They are kind, honest, great people and I am so grateful to have found them while having car trouble with just me and my baby in the car. They made time on the busiest weekend of the year to look at my car and make sure it was safe for us to drive home. AND they took a video for me to show my mechanic back home. AND they didn’t even charge me for the 30+ minutes they spent with me. Best of the best people and business. Thank you, Steve and team!

Had an unexpected flat tire (pothole trauma), called Freemans in the morning and Sven was able to replace my tires by the end of day. Seems the tires purchase at car dealership about a year ago no longer are made, so Sven offered options at different price points. He set an afternoon appointment, was in and out within an hour. High quality work, high quality service, high quality employees. The only place I truly trust. Always reliable, I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of.

The crew at Freeman‘s Auto both locations hands-down must be the best mechanic shop in Orange County. They have a great staff who’s honest by using modern day technology by taking pictures of your vehicles issues, giving you a price breakdown online and conveniently text it to your phone, they even have financing for those days when you’re just short on money But you have to get your vehicle fixed so you can get to work the next day. They also honor their warranty agreements, which is printed right on their receipts so if a part may fail, they will replace it for free. I recommend. To everyone to definitely use Freeman’s Auto and definitely tell your friends and family!

☆☆☆READ BEFORE CONSIDERING ANY OTHER SHOP☆☆☆ If you are looking for an honest, dependable auto repair shop in the Hudson Valley, I cannot recommend Freeman’s Auto Care highly enough. They have locations in Harriman and Monroe, NY, and both provided outstanding service. I brought my 2015 Ram 1500 in for an oil change and asked them to inspect a known oil leak. They quickly identified leaks from the valve cover and rear main seal, and also found that my rear pinion seal needed attention. The diagnostics were thorough, transparent, and there was no pressure or unnecessary upselling. I worked with Michael at the Harriman location and Sven at the Monroe location. Both were outstanding. They were honest, compassionate, professional, and genuinely attentive to my family’s situation throughout the entire process. Freeman’s is part of the TechNet network, and the valve cover gasket replacement had originally been completed in Tennessee. They honored the warranty without hesitation. No runaround, no excuses, just straightforward professional service. While my truck was in their care, the driver door was accidentally dented. Freeman’s immediately took full responsibility, arranged for the repair at a local body shop, and handled transportation of my truck to and from the shop at no cost to me. That level of accountability is rare. My truck also needed transmission work while it was already in for the rear main seal repair. Because of shipping delays and repairs, I was without my tow vehicle for 20 days while traveling full time with my family of four. Freeman’s understood our situation and provided us with a loaner vehicle for the entire duration, completely free of charge. That made a huge difference for my family during a stressful time. Bottom line: Freeman’s Auto Care delivered honest diagnostics, clear communication, skilled repairs, and genuine compassion. Michael, Sven, and the entire team operated with integrity and accountability from start to finish. If you are in Harriman, Monroe, or anywhere in the Hudson Valley area and need trustworthy auto repair, Freeman’s Auto Care is the shop to go to. They earned my loyalty, and I would recommend them without hesitation.

My son uses their repair service and speaks highly of them. He is very pleased with the service and trusts them completely. My experience is limited but I cannot speak more highly of the customer service. I was treated with respect. They listened and were very helpful.
