Pep Boys on Southwestern in Hamburg: I was there on Saturday, April 25 , 2026. Their website allows you to schedule services ahead of time, which is very convenient. I scheduled an inspection for the PepBoys location on McKinley, but I'm not from Hamburg, so I inexplicably ended up at the location on Southwestern. They were benevolent enough to squeeze me in anyway, and they even finished the job in record time!! They text you when they're finished so you know when to go back to pick up your vehicle, which is another convenient perk!! The men working there are friendly, professional, and very patient with their customers, regardless of how many questions you ask them. Great experience!! I will definitely go back.

Booked an appointment based on reviews and they did not disappoint. Relaxed, professional staff who clearly explained pricing and completed evaluation of my vehicle quickly. After initial inspection, car was found not to need repair and staff did not push further service. Fair and honest service is rare these days - I will not hesitate to return. Thank you!

This location is usually our go to for oil change and nys state inspection. Our appt was canceled 2x due to not having an inspector. We went to another location and they told us we needed rear stabilizer links. We replaced the stabilizers and the tires are less than a year old. We finally got in for an inspection and the inspector refused to pass due to dry rotted rear tires. These are brand new tires about 8 months old. We are very disappointed. My husband tried to explain and the inspector was mored concerned about being 65 years old and not having other inspectors with no young kids wanting to do the job. We are extremely disappointed and will be going elsewhere.

I has another great experience here. Tim was super helpful. I’ve gotten inspections, an oil change and tire rotation here. I’ll be coming back. Plus their shop is large enough to handle small RVs. Clean bathroom.

This guy literally lied about having specific tires in stock and we drove 45 minutes in crap weather only to find out he didn't, whereupon he tried to upsell and claim a lesser mile tire, which was much more expensive, was better because the lower cost tire would "rot out". What a jerk....lost out on an $800 sale and any future business at any Pep Boys. So tired of scumbag businesses.. if they lie about something as basic as that then what else are they lying about? Meanwhile, lost out on replacement tires elsewhere. Wasted an entire day. Time is money.
