Stay away if you want affordable repairs. This company makes you pay for every possible cost of their business on your dime. They add a 10% fuel surcharge, charge $165 just to come out, and then $165 per hour — including the time they spend driving to you and back to their shop. When I spoke to the dispatcher, he told me they “operate differently from their competitors” and claimed that’s why they’re better — but didn’t bother to mention that the drive time is fully billable as labor, the fuel surcharge and toll costs of $20. To top it off, if you pay with a card (even a debit card) they tack on an extra $30 fee. In the end, I paid $636 for what was basically a $20 part, a 1 hour round-trip drive, and less than 5 minutes of actual repair work. Save yourself the headache — there are plenty of mobile truck repair companies that won’t nickel-and-dime you for their own fuel, drive time, and payment processing. I won’t be calling them again.
