My check engine light came on yesterday. I am driving to the UP tomorrow. I needed to get in fast to see what was going on. Mikey and his crew were phenomenal - they diagnosed quickly, did some necessary research on extended warranties, etc., and educated me on what my older engine would need. I can tell I'm in great hands, and so appreciate the honest, open approach! Highly recommend.

Recently had to take my vehicle in for some maintenance and had a great experience where the owner and crew were friendly, down-to-Earth, honest, and efficient. They were able to quickly diagnose the problems and didn't just rattle off a price but explained the why/how along with a fair price and reasonable ETA. They truly over delivered by having my vehicle ready 2 days ahead of the ETA. At pick up they took the time to explain and show what was wrong and how they fixed it. Super stand up crew and owner that I highly recommend checking out. They are busy for a reason!

Outstanding service. Mike is fantastic to work with and explains all work before it is done. We have had our Land Rovers serviced here for years. They always do great work. Rates are very reasonable. Mike makes you feel like family. Highly recommended.

Summary: They do great work. They're customer-focused. They're busy, so plan to be without your vehicle for a while. They're fair in their pricing and get good parts (not the cheapest, but quality for the price). I've been taking my cars there for years now and they're always fair and knowledgeable. Mike is the owner and he and his staff take great care to make sure everything is taken care of without trying to up sell you. When things aren't critical to fix, he and his staff will bring it to your attention, explain what the impact is, and frankly tell you if it doesn't need to be dealt with urgently. Their prices aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Mike gets good parts and it costs what it costs for them, and he's fair about it. He's not trying to gouge or milk you. They even have a list hanging in their lobby of what the cost of ownership is over 10 years for various brands, so their customers know what brands to favor if they don't want to have to come back to their shop as often. Mike and two other staff all independently recommended ways I could save money on maintenance, which will directly impact how often I have to pay them for work. If that's not customer-minded, I don't what is. They've always done solid work for me, and the one time I an issue that wasn't completely resolved, they quickly had another look at it and got it squared away promptly. They are often busy, so you may not be able to get very prompt service on your vehicle, but they're upfront about when they can start working on it. When they'll be done is obviously dependent on their assessment of the vehicle once they get started with it and what kind of work you need done. They're good about calling you at that point and walking you through everything, and once they start, they get the job done as quickly as possible. Nonetheless, I usually plan to be without my vehicle for a few days when I take it in. It's the side effect of going to a great business that's good enough to be busy. I usually call ahead and they can give me a rough idea on when they think they can get started on my vehicle. In conclusion, I highly recommend All Pointes Auto. If you need to be in and out, or you're on a really tight budget, you may need to go elsewhere, but if you have the time and can afford it (though you'll likely save money in the long run), I think you'd be hard pressed to find better service.
