When you have an older car and do not know much about cars, going to a car service center can feel a lot like going to the dentist. You know something may be wrong, you know it may affect your safety, but you do not always know what is urgent, what can wait, how much it should cost, or whether you should approve a recommended service. Because of that, I usually feel very stressed and anxious when I have to take my car in. Express Tire & Auto Service was different. I brought my car in because I was concerned about my brakes and some overall issues while driving. They performed a very thorough inspection and sent me photos and videos of what they found, along with clear explanations and an online estimate where I could review each item and decide what to approve. That system was incredibly helpful. At many places, I receive information verbally and can only understand part of what is being explained, so I end up feeling pressured to approve things because I am worried about safety. Here, I had enough time and information to make an informed decision. I really appreciated the transparency, professionalism, and kindness of the team. They were friendly, patient, and reliable from start to finish. I feel very lucky to have found this place, and I feel much more comfortable and confident driving my car now. I would highly recommend Express Tire & Auto Service, especially to anyone with an older car or anyone who wants clear and detailed explanations before making repair decisions. They made a stressful situation feel manageable, and that meant a lot to me. 😊

Fantastic service and communication. I have four new tires now, and the team at Express Tire loaned me a car (for free) to use while they did the work. They also spotted an oil leak and told me how to resolve it easily and quickly. I especially appreciated the whole team’s clear and attentive communication about pricing. Service is excellent! I was feeling very anxious driving with serious car trouble and they took me right in, diagnosed several issues (tires, brakes, battery) that they clearly explained, then gave me keys to a loaner while they fixed everything. Really feel like they took care of me and put me at ease. My car is now running great and driving safely again.

Seriously the best in Watertown! Darren and team have had my car in their shop about 5 times in the past couple months (sigh) and each time has been better than the last. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been friendly and extremely helpful. The status of jobs is well communicated and I always receive a follow up call to talk through the recommended/necessary work that shows up on the virtual work orders they send. They are always very honest and transparent - I’ve never felt pressured to get work done that wasn’t absolutely necessary to the safety of my vehicle and their pricing is great. The free loaner cars are such a nice perk too. As a female car owner, I am totally comfortable with this team and 100% would recommend to others!

I needed new tires with quick installation, and they provided several options and were very responsive via email, text, and phone. I took advantage of the opportunity for them to evaluate other items that might need repair, as I knew my Jeep was likely due for other service items.
