I went looking for help to fix a fender bender, stressed out and vulnerable after a horrible week...I dealt with three people, and all of them were helpful and kind. One of the technicians, then Sarah at the front desk, then Daniel, the owner. I am very pleased with this place; it's a decent and honest place where you can take your car to have it repaired. I left the place feeling there is still hope in humanity, seriously. It's an honest car shop, I am very pleased.

At 4:00 PM I found a screw in my tire and needed to get a quick repair before driving home. Northshore Car Care was the only auto repair shop that actually answered their phone, but I’m so glad they did. Great service, the woman at the front desk was so helpful in squeezing me in last minute. Highly recommend. You guys saved me!

I had a highly disappointing experience with this shop. I brought my Nissan Rogue in for an insurance claim repair estimate but later decided not to proceed with the repair. I scheduled a pickup appointment in advance, returned my rental car as planned, and was transported to NorthShore Car Care by the rental company. However, upon arrival—more than 30 minutes before their closing time—I was informed that my car was not accessible because it was parked behind multiple other vehicles being repaired too. Instead of immediately assisting me, they initially questioned whether I had actually made the pick up appointment and placed the responsibility on me, disrespecting me and raising their voice. Only after checking with their secretary did they realize that my pickup request had not been properly communicated internally and it was their fault. As a result, I was unable to retrieve my car that day. Since my rental had already been returned, I was left without transportation late at night and had no choice but to take a $100 Uber ride home. Despite still being open for another half hour, the shop did not offer any effort to retrieve my vehicle or assist in finding a reasonable solution. They didn’t care. They later promised to make up for the inconvenience by offering a complimentary car wash, yet I never received anything. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. When I picked up my car the next day, I immediately noticed a new issue: the vehicle rattled and shook significantly when accelerating—something that was not present before. This is concerning, considering that my car was originally brought in only for a minor paint scratch and not for any mechanical work. I plan to take it to my trusted mechanic for further inspection. Given my experience, I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this shop. If your insurance company directs you here, it may be worth requesting an alternative repair facility.
