Dropped in unexpectedly because my truck's AC stopped blowing cold, right in the middle of January in Atlanta when last week's low-70s temps made it feel like the heat was still on full blast. Based on solid online reviews and how close ATL Total Car Care was to where I was at the time, I figured it was worth a shot. The tech came straight out to the parking lot. No waiting inside. He quickly diagnosed that the compressor clutch was engaging but the compressor itself wasn't pumping. I was convinced it was toast and asked them to order a new one. Next day they get the truck up on the lift and discover the real issue: the compressor controller wires were cut clean right at the connector. Dealer quoted me $600 just for a new connector (classic dealer move). I said no way, I'd source one myself. Then one of their guys takes a closer look, tinkers around, and figures out how to repair the existing connector in-house. Problem fixed. No crazy parts bill, no endless wait. Best part? They didn't charge me a dime for the AC work. Only billed the transmission service I'd originally asked for while I was there. In a city full of shops ready to upsell you into next week, this crew went above and beyond to save me money and hassle. Honest diagnostics, smart fixes, outstanding customer service, zero nonsense.
