Wannes Transmission and Auto Repair

Would leave zero stars if I was able. Wannes damaged my truck while installing a Jasper transmission (missing parts, damaged wires, stripped out bolts, leaking transmission pan that should have been covered under warranty) and caused check engine lights because of their negligence. They don't stand behind their labor, and claim that issues they caused aren't their problem. It may be a ploy to get you to pay more. Don't let them mislead you by saying that these bad reviews are "completely false and does not reflect any real experience with their business". After leaving a bad review, the woman shop owner called and left a threatening voicemail (which I have recorded) stating I "will pay" and "just you wait and see what is coming to you" because of the bad review. Then 10 days later I was attacked in another business' public parking lot by another owner (local PD documented). They'll tell you that this review is "misleading, defamatory, and intended to harm our company's reputation", but it's all true and happened in real life. They way they conduct business is a direct reflection of every bad review they have - leaving outstanding reviews under their own name (Mark) and asking friends and family members to post good reviews (which IS misleading!). Be wary - do NOT use this business or it will turn into a nightmare for you too! P.S. The county's public court records have verifiable claims as well - just do your homework!

I came into this shop hoping to get a second opinion on my vehicle. A couple months ago I was told by a different auto shop that my transmission needed to be replaced which was so stressful. Now, I don’t know anything about cars but they basically told me my car was done for. I decided to get a second opinion at Wannes, and thank god I did. I found somewhere I could trust! They made me feel so safe and assured me they would figure out what was going on with my car. The mechanic did the inspection and took it for a test drive and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my transmission! I couldn’t believe it. Wannes is family owned and operated and they were just the most sincere and kindest people. I’m so grateful to them for the help with my car. I decided to have a full tune up done to my vehicle. They did an amazing job! Mark was extremely helpful and kind.

Had my transmission replaced here three years ago, they did a great job then and my Toyota Corolla has been running great ever since. With zero issues at all. Just recently brought it in again for a transmission fluid/filter replacement as well as some suspension and brake work. They finished the work in the amount of time they quoted me it would take and the car ran great all the way back up to Wisconsin. These guys do good work at a fair price 👍

Best price in town. Custom service was on point. If you have any questions about your vehicle talk to mark, he has vast knowledge of any year and model car out there. This is a family run store so you can get personal with them on another level. I definitely would recommend this shop to anyone in my family for friends circle. They also do car shield and auto insurance claims. They really helped me on my claim.

I called them in March with assistance with a programming of my transmission and he said he was on the way to the shop and would text me the information. I ended up having to change transmission again and when I was ready to program i started calling places again but than realized I had already called this shop and was no help and saw all the bad reviews so I am glad I didnt do business with them . The crazy thing is ppl are putting 1 star reviews and no writing and he tries to say its false? I bet you he will say mine is too but I have the call log to prove it. Its so sad that someone can run a business like this. Definitely should be ashamed of yourself. And all these 5 star reviews from this month look very fake compared to the bad ones🤭
