NZ Auto Diagnostics and Repair

I had problems with the air compressor on my car. I knew that I need to fix my car right away. I stopped by one of the mechanic Shop for the diagnosis, but they would charge $150 just for the diagnosis. There were several mechanic shops nearby, so I walked into the Nz Auto Diagnostic Shop. I met a mechanic, and I explained about the problem with my car. Later, he found my car's problem right away. He estimated around $800 for parts & labor costs. I was in shock. I didn't think that the part, the air compressor would be so expensive. Just for the part would cost around $500. Anyway, I decided that I would buy the part from another place,but the mechanic would just charge the labor cost. Therefore, I called Auto Club & my car was towed to my home. I called several auto part stores and ordered the part for my car. I just have to wait for the part to get delivered, then go back to the NZ Diagnostic shop to get fix my car. I like the mechanic who gave me a fast diagnosis so I could fix my car. Even though he would charge me lot, the car part was expensive not the labor cost - around $200. I am going my to order auto parts from Ebay, and I will return to this auto shop because the mechanic seems knowledgeable and attentive. I have noticed that there was a big sign which was posted in this auto shop. And it said that they repairs Hybrid cars too.

I had a disappointing experience with this mechanic shop. I brought my car in for a diagnostic, and Francisco charged me $650 without resolving the issue. They imposed a $65 daily storage fee, even though the car was left at public parking space. I found the service to be unprofessional, inflexible, and lacking transparency. The charges felt excessive, and I did not receive the level of service or communication I expected. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop to others.

My car was having performance issues and sounding horrible so I brought it to NZ Auto for support. Just in pulling up to the shop and listening they already knew what to look at. My 2010 Ford Escape had a bad pulley and belt. The alternator was also bad as well, something I expected. I also needed and my brakes and rotors replaced, so while working on the rear ones they found my shocks to be worn and leaking. They shared their finding with photos and options before moving forward since they were working in that area. Definitely needed so I gave the go ahead and they replaced. Lastly my oil was leaking on top of the engine so I had them look into that as well. It was worse than I thought as the oil was flooding the intake, drowning in it. NZ Auto (Francisco) shared photos of the before and after, were very communicative and kept me informed throughout. They did great work and the pricing was fair for all that they did, great quality throughout. They also share recommendations for future work needed on the car, awareness, another great service to keep my car in good shape. Highly recommend.

I found NZ Auto Repair a couple of years ago when I needed Smog repairs on my Toyota Matrix. Francisco was courteous, straightforward and easily trusted. He provided prompt estimates and got the work completed quickly. Later, I needed major repairs on my Subaru Forester and again the estimates provided were honest and reliable. My vehicles have been fixed and running well for more than 2 years now. Just recently, I needed to fix an exhaust leak on my Toyota Matrix and after a quick inspection, the diagnosis was in line with other auto repair shops. Francisco was able to get my car fixed that same day since I wanted to have it ready for a long trip the next day. I'm glad I had this chance to write a review that's been long-overdue! NZ Auto and Diagnostics Repair is a place that was recommended to me by a friend of mine quite a while ago who usually gets his car done there. I've gone a few times to get my BMW maintained such as car filters, spark plugs, motor oil, break fluid, tires, coolant pipe, and control module, etc. All within reasonable prices -giving me options for a few of them and the jobs were done fairly quick to my surprise. Francisco is friendly and straight to the point. Showed me all the issues I had that were fixed and the car running quite well after. Very professional in his field of work. I would seriously recommend this place.
