Subaru Superstore of Surprise Service Department

After returning from a vacation, I discovered my car would not start. I called Subaru Roadside Assistance and they came out to jumpstart it. They advised me to take my car to the nearest Subaru dealership to have the battery check. I had not dealt with the Surprise dealership. They advised me to get a new battery, in that mine was 4 years old. I was pleasantly surprised that I was in and out of there in less than an hour with no appointment. Glenn worked with me on the price and with my coupon, I paid less than I did for the previous battery. I will be returning to the Subaru dealership in Surprise. Great place and wonderful people!

Great service... Jordan set me up with 16,000 mi service without an appointment... usual synthetic oil, oil filter change, air filter change, tire rotation, vehicle inspection with break pad measurements and more. Done in an hour and a half. He did recommend an appointment next time.

Disappointed. During the 60,000 mile service, it was determined the front tires were worn down and we needed four new tires. When I got home the tire pressure indicator light began flashing. The tire pressure indicator showed 40.5 psi, far above the recommended pressure. I called Subaru Superstore's service department, no answer so I left a message for a call back. After 5 hours of no callback, I again called to bring the car back. The service rep said they were "slammed" and it would take about two hours to check it out. He also stated that we would need a new tire pressure sensor. Disappointed with his response, I read up on the possible problem. The tires were overinflated! I removed air from the tires and inflated them to the recommend level of 35 psi front, 33 psi back (while the car was cold). The other thing that irked me was when I approved replacing the tires, the service rep asked if I wanted an alignment for and additional $120. The alignment was already part of the 60,000 mile service. He should have been aware of this. When I paid for the service, he recognized the error and did not double charge me for the alignment. Said he saved me some money, really? Something has changed with the service group at Subaru Superstore. In the past they would call me a day or two after the service and ask how it went. And this is the second time in a year that I've left a message with the service department with no return call.

Got a flat tire and while getting ready to change it realized my tires really needed replacing. Called the dealership and spoke with Dale in parts about replacement tires. They needed to be ordered but could have them in the morning, so we got them ordered. He was then able to connect me with Glen our adviser to make the appointment. While we were at it we had the oil changed, a little early but doesn't hurt. I love that they give you a video walk around by the tech working on your car. Shout out to Cameron the tech for the detailed walk around!

Replace windshield. Called Mark at Subaru, he said they don't do that but work with a company that does. Called the company, came to a deal, scheduled appt. Dropped car off at Subaru with Mark. He said glass company will switch out, and then they would re-calibrate. Couple hrs later drove away. Mark kept me informed from start to finish. He did a great customer service job.
