In response to the reply of the owners: After spending 216 dollars diagnostic fee at this shop with no good outcome because the owner told me to take the car somewhere else after he charged the diagnostic fee. I towed the car to another shop in Renton. My experience at another shop was so different and wonderful compared to this business. At another shop, they took really great care of this car. They diagnosed the car within hours and got the car fixed in days. This made me realized it was such a mistake to take my dad's classic 1990 Mercedes to Woodinville Import Auto Repair. When I called Woodinville shop to ask whether they fix this type of car, the owner told me that they can fix it so we initially set up the time for me to tow the car there. The result was that they let the car stays at the same place in the parking lot outside for weeks, charged 216 diagnostic fee, talked down to me as if the problem was because of me somehow and said they did not have time or mechanics to fix this type of car. The owner said that he didn't want to waste my time or waste his time by fixing this car after he diagnosed the problem. I had to pay extra tow fee to tow the car to another shop. Other shop will have to re-do the diagnostic process and charge the diagnostic fee again. As a result, I lost 700 dollars (round trip towing fee and diagnostic fee) for nothing because of this business. What frustrated me the most was that the owners of this shop tried to blame me for many things such as "wasting [their] time" or "communication" issue. When this was supposed to be a straight forward situation. Instead, what happened was they let the car sit in the parking lot outside for weeks. They charged me diagnostic fee but it seems like they didn't really do much to "diagnose" the car. Told me it needs a new fuel pump when fuel pump was new. When I took it to other shop, they spent hours diagnose the car correctly and fixed it within days. ------------------------------------------------ Previous review: Initially, I was told that it would only take 2 hours for the mechanic to look at the car and come up with diagnosis. The woman who called me from the shop initially said it would be about 400 dollars for diagnostic fee (she said it would take 2 hours to diagnose). Then I kept getting follow-up calls apologizing that they couldn’t finish diagnosing test in time, promising it would be done the next day. I wanted to comfort the woman on the phone who sounded stress when she called to say they couldn’t finish the job in promised time, I said it’s okay. I was not in a hurry and that I was driving other car. I didn’t realize by being kind to the stressed woman on the phone, the owners of this shop would take it as they don't have to diagnose or fix this car in a timely manner (I am talking about weeks, not days). When I called to follow-up after a week, I got to talk to Tonya ( Scott's wife). Tonya said that since this car is not my primary vehicle, the mechanic would only take a look at the car when he had free time. She said that if I was in a hurry, the diagnostic fee would be up to 1,000 dollars. I called again the next day to follow-up and got to talk to her husband, Scott. He said his wife was next to him and she never said that about 1,000 dollars. At this point, I started to think this business might not be trust worthy because of the lies. Anyway, it took about 2 weeks after my car was towed there, then Scott called and said he recommended replacing a fuel pump and other fuel related thing, it would cost about 1,200 dollars. I said okay. Then I realized the mobile mechanic I hired prior to towing the car just replaced the fuel pump for me so I called back letting them know this. Scott confirmed that the fuel pump was new. He ended up charging me 216 dollars for diagnostic fee and told me to go find a mechanic that specialize in Mercedes to fix the car to not waste my time and not waste his time.

Had a car issue come up and looked around at reviews and other shops. First call was to Woodinville Import Auto Repair for a coolant system issue. Rolled with them shortly after they opened. What was to be a 2 day job was done end of day. They were able to come down on the book estimate of hours and total price. Car was handled with care and this will be my home shop going forward for regular services.

Mistakenly took my 2023 GMC Yukon to a Jiffy Lube because we were in a hurry between our Daughter's volleyball matches. Jiffy Lube did not tighten the fuel filter or the oil drain all the way. We had close to a quart of oil leak onto our driveway so we were very worried. Called Woodinville Import Auto Repair Monday morning and they said they could get it in on Tuesday. Brought it to them Monday around 3:30 pm to leave it with them and they immediately brought it in to check it out. They confirmed our suspicion of the Jiffy Lube issue and did a new oil change and cleaned up all of the old oil that drained around the engine. A non-trustworthy shop could have made up a story and charged us a lot of money but it was only the $93 standard oil change price (synthetic). They are very reasonable and such a breath of fresh air to work with.

In 2025, I had the oil changed and maintenance done on my Ram 2500 and Ford 250 at this place. My Ram 2500, which only had about 90,000 miles at the time, started leaking oil from the engine oil pan a week after the service here. I took it back, and they charged me several thousand dollars. I thought it was completely fixed, but two or three weeks later, it started leaking again. They told me it wasn't the same location and charged me several thousand dollars again. I took the Ram 2500 to a Monroe Dodge dealership for inspection. The dealership said there were several major problems: 1. the wrong parts were used, and 2. the installation was done incorrectly. When I asked the owner of Woodinville Import Auto Repair what they were going to do about it, he immediately paid me $290 for the parts and quickly dismissed the matter. Shortly after, the Ram 2500 started leaking engine oil again! At the same time, the Ford 250 also started leaking engine oil, even though it had only had oil changes and maintenance done at Woodinville Import Auto Repair. I'm very puzzled as to why this is happening. I haven't confirmed whether this repair shop is acting intentionally, but I did some research myself and wanted to share it with everyone. By far the worst experience I have ever had at a shop. I came in for a check engine diagnosis, and an inspection on my 04 honda civic after an engine swap. Immediately after leaving, I notice my cruise control doesnt work. Now I never asked them to touch anything with my cruise control. I popped the hood and the cable is hanging there. I know for a fact, as the one who did the swap that it was tight. I called them, and they basically just said 'whoops, wanna take it back in?'. So I reconnected the cable and all is well, right? No! I then have the exact same check engine light come back on for the exact same code that they allegedly fixed. Called the shop, told me they could take it in 3 weeks. I decided just to fix it myself and not waste my time. What I found was literally just a pinched evap hose, didnt even need to install a part. Now I thought it would end here, right? Nope, they overtourqued one of my lugs. So when I was trying to get my spare on because I had work, one of the studs snapped! If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not take your vehicles here, they do not treat them with respect.
