My truck started doing the dreaded Chevy shake. I took it to Custom Transmission and now I’m very pleased that I did. With decades of experience, I knew I could count on Steve’s knowledge. He won’t cut corners and only does quality work. As an owner operated shop, I didn’t have to worry that my work might be done by a less experienced mechanic. Steve does all the work. His wife Cheryl kept me timely informed of the process and sought my authorization for all work that was performed. Both Steve and Cheryl were friendly, helpful, and honest. If you want quality transmission work done on your truck at a fair price, Custom Transmission is the place I recommend.

Had my transmission blow on a trip and had to take it to them they sounded great but when I flew back out to get it within an hour of driving the transmission started acting up and when I got it home to take to a local shop they didn’t warranty anything at all so on top of the 6k they already charged I then had to replace a bunch of stuff that the shop said didn’t even look like custom transmission even did anything to so I had to spend another 3k to fix that. Worst shop I’ve ever had to deal with

The entire crew at custom transmission is fantastic. I had some issues with my transmission that was under warranty. They worked with the warranty department and we all know how they can be. In the end they got nearly all of it covered under warranty and I left a happy man with his pickup shifting like a dream. Could not recommend them enough. Thank you Custom Transmission!

What a joke. Not sure why you would have the name "Custom". It should be basic services. The lady who answered the phone told me she cannot order parts for my transmission for a possible rebuild. And actually all I needed was a filter change. I called some kid from Idaho and he came to my house the same day and got it done. He even went as far as looking up a rebuild kit online and quoted me a price. My Father was right, there is no such thing as customer service anymore.
