I’ve been a loyal customer at Kim’s Import for over two decades, and the recent transition to new management under Mr. Jay Lee has been fantastic. I recently brought my Mercedes in for regular maintenance and was impressed by the thorough, prompt service. Jay personally explained the condition of my vehicle's parts, clearly outlining what needed to be replaced and what was still in good shape before starting any work. The staff was friendly, the work was completed in just 30 minutes, and the fees were very reasonable. Plus, Jay is perfectly bilingual in English and Korean, making communication a breeze. The owner was very honest, patient, and straightforward and the technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. They were super fast and did great work! We are thankful to find an excellent mechanic out here on the Eastside! I will be back!

As a young uniformed car owner, I neglected my car and it's needs for too long. As I asked around for mechanics, I was introduced to Kim's import through a family member.
It is easy to get sucked into paying for unnecessary parts and services; however, Jay goes above and beyond to work with financial limitations, time constraints, and priorities. He does not try to sell you anything you don't need. He helped break down a long list of car issues into manageable steps, which made the whole process feel much less overwhelming. He informed me on the importance of preventative car maintenance, quickly diagnosed the problem, explained to me in detail what was causing the issue, and what exactly needed to get done -- all at a great price! Great communication and service.
Kim's Import will from now on be my go to spot for routine or acute car needs. Thank you so much to Jay and Kim's Import for saving my sweet little MINI Cooper and getting it back up to par!

They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire process. My car runs smoother than ever, and the transmission feels like new again, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. They also inspected my brake pads, checked and adjusted tire pressure, and completed a tire rotation, which I really appreciated. Communication was clear, the work was done right the first time, and everything was completed in a timely manner. I’m extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the Issaquah area looking for reliable auto repair and maintenance!
