SCP upgraded my old EJ22 to a new EJ25 in my beloved 1986 Westy last month! I could not be happier with the engine performance and the Crooked Cluster Dash console. I had a 2600 mile shakedown cruise to get back home and am nothing less than pleased with how it drives. 80 mph on the 5 through central California and she still had plenty of legs. I contracted with AA Transaxle on SCP recommendation to rebuild my manual transmission with a taller .82 4th gear and limited slip differential so am looking fwd to some muddy USFS roads. I think 65 mph is still the sweet spot.... the tank from Gallup NM to Santa Rosa (I-40) I averaged over 25 MPG (likely a tailwind and mostly downhill but I will take it). We just had our 1985 Vanagon Westfalia converted to a 2.5i engine with a manual transmission and we couldn't be happier! My van was without 4 wheel drive for more than 20 years. After a forward u-joint failure I was sent down a crazy road of chasing excessive vibration that included multiple balancing and re balancing attempts of stock drive shaft, a new drive shaft, playing with front diff spacers and laser driveline angle setup to no avail. I could not drive the van with the driveshaft in. They were able to chase down the vibration problem and got me back off of the road. Never thought I would see the day. So pumped!

If there were only a way to give them 10 stars! I have been in need of a place that understands just because I have a Westfallia doesn't mean I am rich or have disposable income. Yet has state of the art solutions and 21st century technology to service our vehicles. There vehicle inspection process is helping me draft a road map to repair for my decrepit old Bus. They heard me when I said I just want to keep it Dry, Alive, and Safe to Drive! The futures so bright I gotta slow down and enjoy the right lane 😎🚌😎
