There is an entire online process for booking appointments. But guess what? They don't take appointments! Plus they say online they close at 5 but it's really 4:30. I made an appointment days ago for 4:45 pm, got texts to confirm the appointment from the system on the day of the appointment reminding me, got here and they tell me they only do walk-ins before 4:30. So frustrating! Employees on site were nice and apologetic 🙏 But management of updating the business and the experience overall sucks.!

I went there because the dealership could not get me in for a Electronic Throttle Control light appearing on the dash on a vehical recently purchased with only 8,000. miles on it. I lost my rear sensors and back up camera on Stevens Pass and was very concerned. The machanic at Emily's Garage took it in and could not get a code off the warning light. So back to the dealership I went to schedule an appointment that was for 2 weeks out. While at Emily's I noticed the others services. Two peaked my interest. 1. The oil change, They sell Mopar so I'm at ease with the oil they will use and 2. They will do a once over before I go on a road trip. The dealership, where I purchased my new 2021 RAM only does oil changes on a first come basis. Working 2nd shift, there get up at the break of dawn and get in line dosent work for me. The front desk gal seemed very efficient and juggled the phone and walk-in's professionally. Good job people! I hope they are being paid well. Good help is hard to find.

I needed a vehicle inspection to drive for Lyft. It was quick, painless, and I was on my way in no time - less than an hour!

Emily's Garage is one of the Seattle city-approved vehicle safety inspection mechanics.  They offer ASE-certified TNC inspections, pre-buyer inspections, diagnostic services, and general car inspections.  They have three locations - Everett, Tacoma, and Burien. For the vehicle safety inspection, I didn't have to make an appointment.  It was fine to do a walk-in. When I visited Emily's Garage, there was a customer who was pretty upset with the repairs and the cost.  I was able to hear what the customer had to go through but I would not comment on that as I have limited information. From my experience of getting my vehicle inspected, I was very surprised at how quickly they were able to complete the vehicle inspection.  It was done in less than 2 minutes, and I paid over $50 for that service. For comparison, when I had my vehicle inspected at Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, they spent over 20 minutes to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and the cost for the inspection was only $20. Will I re-visit Emily's Garage for the vehicle inspection?  Probably not but if the state requires me to get the vehicle inspection done, I will probably have no choice as there are not that many shops that offer the ASE-certified inspection.
