Lupe is an awesome mechanic and great guy. Called him early on a Saturday morning for a wheel bearing assembly replacement and he was able to see me right away. I brought the part and he installed it, no problem. He pulled up a chair for me in his shop and we chatted while he worked. He is a true professional that cares about his work and his customers. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Lupe!
View on GoogleThis mechanic, Lupe, is a criminal. I have a 7-passenger Toyota Sienna, and he knew that I transport my family and children in that vehicle. It is a family car. The car needed two front control arms, a CV axle, engine mounts, and transmission mounts. I bought all the parts myself and brought them to him. It appears that the only part he actually installed was the CV axle, probably because it was making obvious noise. The rest of my parts were never installed, and I believe he sold them back to the auto parts store. After he worked on the vehicle, my car started having serious problems. When I called him, he stopped answering my calls. This man knew I had children and that my family rides in this vehicle. Because of his actions, the car became unsafe. Something terrible could have happened on the road. He damaged my vehicle and put my family's safety at risk. I paid about $1,300 for the parts and another $900 for labor. In return, he only installed the CV axle and ignored the rest of the repairs. I have never seen anything like this before. I will not let this go. I intend to report this matter to the police and the appropriate authorities. This is not going to be forgotten.
View on GoogleHad Lupe replace the headgasket in my E36 BMW some time ago. Very down to earth guy, super nice and friendly. It took him a little while, but he always seems to have a lot to work on. I'd recommend him as he is very affordable (everywhere else was around $1k higher) and did decent quality work, although there were a few details I believe he left out (my timing cover wasn't quite bolted down all the way, leading to a coolant leak, but it was an easy fix). He also found faults in my VANOS (variable timing system) and rebuilt it for me as well, and the motor is much more responsive since he did so. He seems to have a very wide experience range, I also saw him working on boosted cars, rebuilding multiple other motors at the time. Thanks Lupe!
View on GoogleLupe is very knowledgeable and honest. I had a very large job that needed to be done on my Ford Explorer. Lupe was thorough and had great communication with me throughout the entire process. When the job was done Lupe gave me a complete breakdown of the other (minor) issues my Explorer had, listed in the order of most important, to what could wait without causing an additional issue. We are so thankful Lupe was recommended to us!
