I can’t say enough good things about Mitch and the team. I brought my 2020 F-150 in with what turned into a very complicated coolant leak and warranty claim. Over the course of several months, Mitch was incredibly thorough, honest, and patient throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what he was finding, kept me updated, and never pushed unnecessary repairs. What really impressed me was that he didn’t stop advocating for me after the initial repair. When a catalytic converter issue showed up afterward, he went back to bat with the warranty company multiple times. Thanks to his persistence, they ended up covering the catalytic converter, reimbursing me for an EGR cooler repair, waiving my deductible, and even reimbursing my rental car expenses. The only thing I paid for in the end was replacing the oxygen sensors, which I chose to do for peace of mind. Finding a mechanic you can trust is rare. Mitch treated my truck like it was his own and genuinely looked out for my best interests instead of just trying to sell me parts. He’s earned my trust, all of my future automotive work, and my referrals to friends and family. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable mechanic who stands behind his work and goes the extra mile for his customers, I highly recommend Mitch and his team.

Quintin worked on my 6.0 Power-stroke and figured out it had a failing high pressure oil pump. He went the extra mile and found debris from the pump getting into the fuel system. He explained how that can contaminate the injectors, lines, and rails, and how this is something that gets misdiagnosed a lot. A lot of places will just replace the pump and call it good, but that usually leads to bigger issues and total system failure later. Quintin was super personable, honest, and didn’t sugar coat anything. He walked me through multiple ways to fix it depending on what I wanted to do, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. Because of his experience and the way he diagnosed it, he saved me a lot of time, money, and headaches. I’d definitely recommend Active Auto Care, especially if you want it fixed right the first time.

I had been taking my truck to them for a few years. I took it to them as I was having an issue with my fuel Evap System, spent $900.00 to get it fixed and they didn't fix it. I brought it back to them and my truck got stolen from their lot. I got my truck back and took it to Ford, told them what the problem was and it was verified and fixed. I tried calling and calling to get some money back as the theft alone cost me a lot money out of my pocket, which their insurance did nothing for me. Ford charged me $1582.04 to fix the problem, all I want back is the $900.00 for the service that didn't correct the problem. I spent more money than that fixing the other things that MY insurance didn't pay for. Never heard back from the owner Joe and I'm very disappointed in the concern after the vehicle theft from their lot and no communication. Just to make things worse, I had another vehicle stolen from a business in Federal Way and their insurance handled everything, no money out of my pocket. That business handled everything correctly and had great communication. Take your chances and thank you Joe for nothing!!! If you want to make this right and have this post deleted, you can call me.

Best car repair place. My "go to " shop. Honest - had a rare problem needing special Volkswagen tools to fully diagnose, so no charge! Quality: I've never gotten rotors from other shops for my 2012 Honda Odyssey that didn't warp after $12k miles until now (on my 4th set). They said they avoid the cheap ones and these are holding up beautifully.
